Made some pips [and left some since last night], but didn't feel comfortable holding on to these.
Looking for longs again since TMA is eather sideways or going up.

Still waiting for that GBPUSD to climp that hill. There must be a ton of resistance, I guess the big boys don't want it up.

I've been looking at it too. The great thing is that the stoch(7) seems so consistent with it. It seems like you can get decent trades even if against the monthly stoch as long as not against the weekly AND monthly and when you have the weekly & monthly aligned you can go a bit crazy with the scale-in/stack trades.....then you add in that the best trades are when price has breached the TMA boundary....

My gut tells me to TP when sto7 is at 0 / 100 and start opening reversal order near the end of the run, with the last pending being a 'limit' order where I plan to TP in order to get into the run at the extreme end.

Well - looking at the D1 charts for a while I think this would be a painful exercise. So many runs carry on way longer than sto7 hitting 0 / 100. It seems to me that there is plenty of time to make very good pips with little risk - it seems to me you are adding significantly more risk just to try to nail the extremes. Not a game I want to play.

Then again 10.7/10.9 is just a structure - there are many ways to skin a cat. :cheer:

Gertje, you seem to be trading D1 aggressively, hardly being a day trader, so much effort. I'm taking the Daily TMA extreme, with certain conditions (divergence, double top/bottom, head & shoulders, Alorente mentions all of this) and waiting it out.

You are right, I was used to trade H1 / H4 and recently switched to D1 when I saw the possibilities with the TMA-extreme and 10.9

The 'problem' is that I work behind a desk with internet access the whole day. I'm logged in to my VPS continuously and can look at the trades whenever I want. Great for H1 trading, good for H4 trading, but overkill for D1.

I'm in the process of finding a good balance between curiousity and meaningful managing the trades. It's my 3th week now with the D1 and I can tell I will have a lot of spare time in the future once this kicks in.
