I noticed and mentioned it earlier in the thread that my GP & Oanda demos showed different days, I spent an hour or more trying to fix, tweak, bodge it but couldn't get my head around it and gave up :oops: as it didn't affect the way I use it.

GP - 21 pairs, Day 4, London open, TP 50% > 3 TP's +427, floating -1297
GP - 21 pairs, Day 9, London open, TP 33% > 2 TP's +280, floating -1569

I close mine at midday last Friday of the month so looking at big losses this month unless all the high impact news in the next couple of days swings things round.

GP - 21 pairs, Day 4, London open, TP 50% > 7 TP's +968, others -1752 = -784

GP - 21 pairs, Day 9, London open, TP 33% > 4 TP's +401, others -2591 = -2190 :uff:

Anybody who isn't is an idiot. Not absolutely certain that the latest version has the day count thingy nailed, but am absolutely certain that the previous versions did not.

I closed out before my 'official' close day because I was up just over 600 pips. Granted, I thought I was up just over 800 pips, but that is the difference between the pip value of different currencies. Hey ho.

I will post details over the weekend.

Here are my Demo results for July with a Day 7 start. Net pips: -1631

I also ran Elixes simulator (Day 7 @ 33%TP) and it gave me: -1373

Here are my results for July:

All the profits came from the day 15 basket. I saw the headline figure of +$8 and assumed this was 800 pips, forgetting that some pips are worth more than others. I thought to myself, "How often have you made 800 pips in a month? Grab them whilst they are still there." So I did; I have not looked to see how many I left on the table.

An odd thingy happened when I loaded up the D15 setfile: OAM instantly closed all the trades from D7. By a curious and happy coincidence, the entire basket closed exactly at breakeven - how often is that going to happen when an accident occurs in the train wreck that is retail Forex trading. I did not leave the trades open until the end of the month.

This happened before I corrected the trading day calculation code, so I guess something there caused the closure but do not actually know. I think the code is correct now, but we shall have to see. Tomorrow is trading day 7 by my calculations, so I shall be setting the bot loose tonight in preparation for taking the trades tomorrow.

So far, two months of live trading and +1,130 pips. I nice start for this little bot.
