Elixe, Please Can you Clarify Something for me, which is Which with this Buffer 7 and Buffer 8 wavy Lines, please see the Chart below.... Hi xrismak I had the same question and found a way that works for me: hover with the cursor over the WAVY Lines and it shows you either the Buffer=Value 7 or Buffer=Value 8 on the Data Window. I suppose looking at the Data Window and playing with the cursor you can also see which alert fires first. Mike |

I think the Best thing to do in this Kind of Situation is Not to Trade this Currency Pair until there is some Clarity as to which way the TREND Really is ! The MA 60 is Below the MA 240 but the Alert Says Range Buy, I had a Range Sell Earlier ON with the wavy thingy right Underneath the Candles and PA but the Move Kind of Stalled in it's Tracks.... Any Ideas and Comments are Welcome to Explain this Scenario which I am Sure Most Traders will Obviously come Across whist using this Indicator. Happy Trading Y'all, xrismak |

I have been trading for just over 5 years now. I have seen a lot of ideas come and go. In some cases i have seen a lot of money come and go. I have only ever been successful as a Trend Trader and i have on numerous occasions attempted to trade the way that Bob does wrt to CT, stacking trades, taking a multitude of smaller trades that add up and ignoring the traditional "wisdom" of R:R. I have always been amazed at how well he could do what i could not (and how he made it look so easy). It appears that he (with the assistance of some excellent people) has distilled his wisdom into a simple, elegant indicator. I feel like I have Bob sitting right next to me telling me " There you are, Brian, a nice fat one for you. Now go on and take it." And then concluding with "Ok, Brian, time to close up shop for the day". There are so many ways to trade these signals and they will work with every personality type ( which can be the important point.) i can only comment on H1 and H4 but the backtests were incredible. The H4 trades picked up every one of my trend trades 100s of pips earlier. The H1 trades were constant, every day and every pair. Thank you. I will forward test in December. If all goes as indicated then i shall open an additional account just for your charity in January and pay it forward. |

7 / 8. All the wavy lines on your chart are 7/8 sequences: entering indecision, exiting into a enventual trend the circled ones : 1st one, 7 on top, entering indecision from an uptrend, 2nd one, 8 below, exiting indecision into a eventual downtrend, wait for arrow. Hi Elixe, Thanks for the Heads up, Now Gone to the Higher H1 and H4 timeframes to get a Clearer Picture as I know with Nanningbob's Indi's one Hardly ever Gets it wrong with a Look on the Higher Time Frames . Cheers, xrismak |

first let me thank bob and the 'team' for developing and selflessly sharing this indicator ! You guys are truly awesome !!! I'm forward testing the same (since back testing is not possible due to 'repainting' business !) and very much looking forward to the results. Couple of quick questions - 1. I've noticed that in most instances the charts I'm testing (including EURUSD H4) arrows that should signal entry (big red / green arrows) does not appear until I re-initialize the indicator by switching timeframes. Eg. In the attached pic 1, the big red arrow did not appear at the time it should have and came only when I accidentally switched time frames and went back to H4 after several candles had passed. Why could this be happening ? (DLL imports and external import boxes are ticked in the HGI indicator) 2. Pls refer pic 2 - H1 EURUSD. Shouldn't there be a sell signal - big red arrow -(as per the rules) in the area indicated by the black ellipse ? It did not appear even when I changed timeframes. Appreciate any assistance on the above.. Cheers ! D |
