Good evening, I tryed to backtest this EA on D1 with default settings and tickdata but... it didn't trade and show no errors in journal. Anyone tryed to backtest it ?

all results from backtesting are a waste of time, however if you still want to mess around with it - perhaps you like dreaming of making gazillions in a week or something, try removing the trading hours variable i.e. make it blank and see if that helps.

Hi Angat... still no trade, and no errors in Empty4 journal. I would like to see if backtests would match with the demo tests you are doing... even trying backtest with open prices are not working.

I'm testing the last version without "steroids"... this one Pipcruiser'27s Pipmasher.

Here is a mystery to me, maybe not for you. Zennor just started a new thread for PPoS for 4H charts

He kindly provided his set 2 files for trading; I used the Fixed lots file

Using the Pipcruisers Pipmasher on Steroids EA loaded with the said set file, I put it on the charts

Zennor mentioned he has v. 1d while I have the v. 1e

Zennor mentioned he restricted it to 6 pending trade per pair

What I noticed is the pairs for Short opened 6 trades no problem

However, pairs for Long only opened 1 trade

So, is it something I did wrong, the set file settings or heaven forbid the EA v. 1e ?

Surely not the EA as it would be seen by now to my thinking

Didn't want to pollute his thread so here are 2 charts to mull over

Snowman,

had a quick look at code of latest version in post 1 - go to line 1990 and un-comment that line

SendSingleTrade(Symbol(), OP_BUYSTOP, TradeComment, SendLots, price, stop, take);

Steve probably commented that line out by mistake... at moment buy trades are not send as intended

As I am not trading the bot, please check n confirm back...

Nice one guys.

The accidental commenting out of line 1990 was left behind when I was trying to make multi-trade risk-based lot sizing work and I didn't want the ea sending the trades all the time.
