Hi Michael yes admittedly so I did trade the ea all day for the simple reason that no trades were fired off 2 hrs into the London session and as we all know trades retrace towards new york...however today being monday the currencies are re aligning going into the week ahead so direction yet to be set....it is a known that currencies set a direction in London open and retrace towards New york and more specifically if it does not retrace to the daily open it will retrace to the daiiy pivot...I always look for this retrace to get back in, with the New york session

Hi guys a bit late for me into the session....got a bit worried a bit earlier...nevertheless my trades came back and I end the day on 550 pips with an emergency close... take care guys and once again thanks Rene and George this is Ea is exceeding my expectations

Hey Wavegarrick,

Please feel free to continue posting as you're not taking over the thread at all, we are a team

Rene and I live in opposite zones to the trading times and struggle to be here most times especially after the sleepless nights of trying to test the EA, take screenshots and ensure things are working seamlessly. It's even worse for Rene as he has other projects he's working on too.

Hello, I'm having an issue with mad-ea on my vps The EA seems to be unresponsive immediately after loading onto my chart and looks different from the same version running on my home computer (both build 950 & live trading enabled) It took a few trades last night but never closed losing positions at the allotted time of expiry and has been dormant since. Not all of the boxes light up with colour only arrows. Charts wont open when I click the boxes. I can't imagine this would be a cpu issue since the vps has 8Gbs of ram and quad core cpu. Any ideas?

I believe the 3 level/quantum indicator which is currently is being used for trade closure on the new versions of hgb would be a great candidate for closing trades on the MAD-EA. I have yet to find a trade manager that uses quantum so if anyone knows where to find one I would be extremely grateful. Here you can see it in action on H1, it does not repaint.

Is there anything of interest in the log files, that could be shining some light on this? As you can imagine, it is extremely hard for me to diagnose a "It doesn't work"-problem, especially if it does work in my own environment. I can tell you now that it doesn't use any DLLs so that can not be the culprit. It is a bit heavy I guess on the memory requirements and (depending on the setting of CycleTimeSeconds) on the CPU, as there is quite a bit of calculations happening 'under the hood'. It might be worth checking with the Task Manager, how much memory and CPU is used. If memory usage is high, you can try to switch off the dashboard (ShowDashboard = false), as that would reduce memory consumption quite a bit.
