Just something I need to try and put into words,, The dynamics lie in the buttons that we have on the dashboard. And very cool features indeed introduced by Gego. We have a quick visualisation of where our trades are standing for the day. For me, Css is based on momentum so if your daily trades dont go into profit fairly quickly we could be at the end of a run and should look at closing the basket . It may happen that with London open for eg trades run in one direction and quickly reverse in the opposite direction so by having your fingers on the pulse you should see that things are happening fairly early in the session with the dots changing from red to green or vice versa. When you see that you have open trades aligned without dots or few dots next to them, means momentum is slowing or changing direction. If I am in profit I will just close the whole Basket. I will wait for a bit and see if we get some more dots on various currency pairs and I will trigger the Ea again. Anyway hope I make sense... Must say however if I do get it wrong my weekly and monthly trades are there to bail me out.. Tc Leon |

Question, If I change the number in % profit closure or loss closure, this number back to 2 and -5 each time. I tried even save the template and click "enter" but it doesnt save, any button I click in the interface will bring back the 2 and -5. Do I miss anything? Would appreciate your feedback guys, Thank you. |

Still going well here. Like super well. I haven't traded this well in a very long time. I'm trading manually. Asia, London and NY open. Simply opening individual trades when the H4 crosses in direction of D1. I close off any losers quick smart, specifically when the H4 closes in the other direction. When the D1 sets the direction and we move that way there's lots of pips to be had by following along on the lower timeframes. We need to keep in mind that D1 trend will change eventually and it's important to get a spidey sense of when this happens and cut the losing positions rather than holding and praying for it to turn around. Todays (open) trades: |

I can tell, I like manually in the same way, I am furthermore checking weekly and trying get in when 4H cross agree with Daily and Weekly CSS Trends. I wonder, can we configure the EA so for example, it will enter 4H cross only IF Daily CSS trend agree with it? This is insanely good community, its a true gift finding and being here guys, THANK YOU! |

Hi Jem, A couple of questions if I may.. Are you trading when the lines actually cross (perhaps with other supporting information like tested support/resistance or M W patterns) or only when the previous H4 candle has closed with a cross? Do you trade when D1 is ranging or only when trending (based on a CSS threshold > 2 for example)? Cheers. |

Hi Geko et al A quick update on my testing this week. My previous issues with the daily timer function were probably down to finger trouble on my part as I was able to use this without further issue. I took advice and added W1/D1/H4 back into my testing, alongside W1/H4/H1. Yesterday I also played with M5/M15/H1 at London open with some success in the morning session. Often, the two longer term models will take the same trades and to be honest, I haven't found one to be any better than the other. I've tended to just let the EA do its own thing and observe what happens, often due to my own time constraints. I don't really care about the end result at present, more about finding out what it does naturally and playing with the settings. Generally, my results have been poor especially from midweek onwards and I suspect market conditions contributed to this. I remain convinced that the diff value/direction needs to be taken into account. It is sometimes obvious to me where I will lose trades, simply due to the diff moving in the wrong direction. This and/or a per-pair disabling function would return better results for me I think. I can see why Jemook has better success with manual trading in this respect. I agree with Leon that this EA is very much about momentum and this is why at present, I think it is better suited to lower TFs, where it can catch the ups and downs of short term daily moves. That said, the results returned by most here are still encouraging so I'm happy to keep going with it. Have a great weekend. |
