Hi @all. Final version of TDesk and some of the scripts are in the official thread now. It might take us years to unleash all of TDesk's potential. I will concentrate more on indicators, strategies and the helpers (Viewer, Player and Optimizer) now. Cheers Thomas |

Hi@all again. I am up to writing an universal signaling drone. If this works, it can use nearly every indicator out there and send multi-pair, multi-timeframe signals to TDesk. Would you guys post some of your favourite COMPLICATED indicators here, please. I need to get an idea how to catch indicator outputs on a truly universal base. Thank you Thomas |

Hello Thomas, I hope that this is complicated enough for you  .I use camarilla pivots as my preferred daily/weekly pivot indicator. I attach a PDF explaining the traditional way of using these pivots in case you are not familiar with them. As a stand alone strategy they would be used as areas to take profit, look for a possible price reversal or a price breakout. Quite often other indicators will be happily showing a trend so an EA might open a position only to have price immediately reverse having bounced off a camarilla pivot so as part of an integrated system I use them as areas where new trades should not be entered into until price has demonstrated it's intention and moved a certain distance away either having bounced off the pivot level and reversed or broken through, re-visited and then continued on past the pivot level. In this case an automated version should be able to prevent a new continuation trade from being opened if price is within "x" pips of the pivot by suggesting a possible change in direction while also having the ability to close existing trades either in full or in part and setting a break even, or just setting a break even. It's too early on a Monday morning to have any good examples of what I mean but I include a snap of EURCAD showing Heiken Ashi candles, HGI and stochastic all indicating a long trend only for price to bounce off the H3 camarilla pivot. As described above a camarilla "zone" would have prevented a long trade from being taken by suggesting a possible price reversal. Similar "zones" around the included fib pivots and the, not included, daily open price would be even better, and yet more complicated I use the attached camarilla9-1by_lu as it has a weekly option but only an ex4 file so I also include a similar indicator's mq4 for your perusal. Hi Thomas, here is one of my favourite indicator i-bandsprice with ema15. I use it on daily timeframe. I think the chart itself is self explantory. Basically is the Yellow line cross over above of magenta line for buy. The reverse for sell. |

Hi guys. Thanks for your indicators. I think I will split up the problem into three parts. * Indicators that use buffers and can get read via iCustom. I estimate that are 90 percent of all indicators. They either use the buffers to draw curves (like MACD, Stoch, Averages, Nonlagdot, Superslope etc.) or to draw arrows (like HGI). * Indicators that draw objects indicating entry and exit points. * Indicators drawing lines as support/resistance zones. I plan to address these with different approaches, i.e. different "universal drones". First will be the mostly used version, indicators using buffers to draw curves. They are perfect for multi-timeframe, multi-pair usage. i-BandsPrice is a very good example. Attached is the first prototype of such a drone to universally read indicator buffers. It can: * use two different indicators (or the same, just leave the 2nd name blank) * use four different buffers * compare them to each other, constants, various price series or buffer averages * use different logical operators for the comparison.
