It's interesting how dip the floating DD will go. Are there any historical observation?

I have had a maximum drawdown of 2.9%

Again it's important to make sure we are still trading with good money management, especially as we are trading a basket of 10+ pairs.
I trade small lots, so drawdown is not an issue for me (this is a strategy I learnt from Bob), and yet I have increased my account by over 7% in 3 weeks, with the aim of 10% for the month. I would be very happy with a 10% gain per month with minimal risk

You have to place this indicator 10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA into your experts/indicator folder

Thanks, I have. The error only relates to USDJPY. I don't know why?

May be I am using a different version, do you mind send me your version.

Thanks fxozgirl. Indeed, NBob's system is fabulous, incredible system I haven't seen before.
As I am full time employed and have no time to watch my screen continuously I am looking for set and forget thing for NB 10.2. I found Shelly's EA is one can do the job. Thanks to Shelly and Steve.

No problem Armen, just remember there is no really true set & forget EA, as the markets are their own mistress and anything can happen.
You will still need to make sure you have at least a basic understanding of the manual strategy so you know what/why the ea is trading.
This EA is still very much in it's infancy, so make sure you check on it and monitor it's activity.

And last but not least, make sure you are only trading demo at this time

Was it solely with this strategy, that you increased 7 % in 3 weeks ? That is a very good result.
Is that also the timespan, that you have been trading this strategy ?

Hi to one and all

I set up the Shelley EA this afternoon and expected at 1700 hours (Aussie time), a number of trades to open, maybe as many as 12 given the slope indicator values etc. however nothing triggered.
Now, I have read the preceding posts regarding the 10.2 TMA Slope v.1.4B 4.30 which must be in the Experts/Indicators folder. I have that there - no problem. Steve mentions in his opening regarding the Shelley EA that it should be 10.2 TMA Slope v.1.4B 4.3 for EA found in the attachments. The one included in the attachments is NB 10.2 TMA Slope Display v0.3 which I also have in my Experts/Indicators folder.
Have I missed something somewhere and is that the likely reason why none of my trades were triggered?

Yes, however that is trading manually, not with the EA (which has only been coded a couple of days) and yes that is my results since I first discovered NB 10.2.

Hallo Graham,
You must have both programs in your indicator folder. That is a good start.
Further : check with the indicatorprogram in a separate chart, whether your currencies have
a TMA > |0.8| In that case you should get buy/sell entries. I did this a few minutes ago : A number of currencies certainly is candidate !
Another issue : check your BasketSendhour. If this is not at 17 or 18 for you right now (whatever your computerclock shows), nothing happens.
What also might help : After putting the files in the respective folders, recompile all again. First the indicators, then the EA.

a)If all pairs are ranging, then you simply have no action at that moment. You must be patient.
b) What indicator you put on your chart, has no influence on the EA. Only the correct indicator in the folder is decisive for that.
C) What do you mean with the 'standard one' ?

Please have a think about what you're writing before you do so. I was trying to help kelisa, who posted the chart as there was an issue with that chart.

Addressing your points:
a) Unfortunately this is a fairly ridiculous statement. On the chart posted every pair was ranging on D1, H4 and H1 timeframes - are they all actually ranging? No. Therefore there is an issue. It is actually one that has been posted before in the manual trading thread by Shelley
b) I thought you were correct (as I said in my post) but Shelley resolved the issue by attaching the "10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA.mq4" not the standard NB one "10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30.mq4"
c) See b)
