Post subject:  White Box
The white box trading by him self seems to do well in the tester on any pair. So he is on a Demo and maybe he will trade a little more frequently than he does in the tester. There is already 4 pending trades. This looks like one of those things that looks to good to be true and than you find out it was. However he looked good on every pair I tested him on. Crazy. Oh and he does buy and sell. He must have been in free fall on EURUSD to trade all south in the tester. :D

To be honest, despite my initial enthusiasm I am leaving SB on my demo only because it is on a new computer with shed-loads of power.

Slope is showing why CT trading can be so difficult, leading to so much DD and so many deep Recovery positions. I look at Slope reading buy and hold, then at the outer sixths lines indicating a sell, and think, "Only an idiot would sell there."

Sometime soon, I will strip out white box trading and Slope into their own individual EA.

Totally agree. Already tired of looking at the dd. Hopefully white box might be a nice legacy.

I'm seeing exactly the same scenarios on demo too steve, having a whitebox only version combined with slope has legs!! :o

Hi Aussiedoc,
I see some trades were canceled. Was that made manually or it was the bot to cancel them?
Also, if you could please mention what time frame you apply the bot.

I am glad you mentioned those setting. I think those OOTB settings are excellent and I only turned them off for testing Bunker in the tester and probably should look to put them back on for running the Regular Demo. I think they get around a lot of the DD probably. Of course that is what you got to try to avoid with the Beast because he can kill you with it. However with a better white box and those setting the Slopey version should do better. Slope seems to love the white box if the demo proves that.

White Box looks good so far with one positive trade and two pending on one demo and an older demo shows four pending trades. Whats most important is that they look right on with trend and slope.

I am doing an all night test of the white pips box setting to see what numbers look good there. I put the regular Demo back on the OOB setting accept no hedging in US, Chasserl, autocalc and allowing it to trade 25 pairs at once just to see the demo run its self wild.

I have not done this in a while because it is usually the kiss of death but here it goes.

A big thanks to you for testing the Bunker retrace theory. Although this was not a complete success story, I definitely learned through all this. I think it is a safer bet to use the slope value with trending strategies (or maybe BO strategies ?....stairstep ?)…

Combined with the TB’s white box, that’s going to be a killer!
