It has a tendency to run and run once it gets started so lets jump on board. Price has touched the DP but just below is S2. Rare to break it but G/C does do it now and then so I am going to play a sell just beyond the S2 and see if gbp/chf will give me back some of the funds it used to take me on when I was CT trading in the past. So playing break of DP and Support on this one.
Hi Bob,

Sorry, I'm a bit confused.

I thought that we sell when: MP > WP and price has crossed below DP

In your post though, the WP is still above the MP.

Am I missing something?

Thanks!
You have to tell me which pair you are talking about
Hi Bob

I was asking about the GBPCHF which you discussed in the post I quoted.

Thanks

The gbp/chf is just a matter of watching a currency across the board. The CHF was strengthening against all pairs and the MP and WP are basically identical, very small difference so I played it. I got two nice trades from it during the week. See pic below as DP is below both pivots and the WP and MP are only 30 pips apart.

I was 32-10 for the week and increased my account by over 3%. As some of you know my goal is to increase my account by at least 10% every month so I am on goal for that. Actually, except for a couple of moves by the AUD early in the week and CHF pairs later in the week it was a rather lame week. So I am pleased with that.

That was a great trade on the Eu/Au off the pivot this morning. Classic 10.2a good for 120 pips.

Dear Bob,

I am a relative newbie to forex trading. I traded your NB 10.2 Oct edition system this week only taking the most obviously trending pairs. I did nothing special and played the daily pivot breaks. I did not look to TMA slope for entries and just trusted the pivots. I had a 66.6 (repeating of course) winning percentage. My wins on average were also larger than my losses. After reviewing my trades this week, I think most of my loses came from placing my stops too close. I increased my account by 3% this week. I just wanted to say 'Thank you'.

Good afternoon Id like to post my thanks I looked at this first past few days for the first time.

As am away durning the sessions for a few weeks i did this:

I look at my pitbull indi h4 daily weekly and see the direction am going play for the day.

I look at the top 3 moving pairs of the direction i fancy based on the pitbull indi.

I changed the colour of the piv indi to be traffic light. Red Yellow Green buy easier for my weak brain to see :).then put a pending order on the piv for breakout only for 10 pips. 2 orders taken looking good

Thanks for clarifying Bob, appreciated.

What is the best way to scan for trade set-ups? Do most people have 20 charts open or just use the slope strength or similar?
Thanks

So far only the usd/chf, eur/usd, and gbp/jpy have retraced behind their pivot lines. I will wait until the Euro open to start making choices. See how last Friday's moves shake out during the JPY session.
