Hi Everybody and Happy New Year!!

Good Point Ikdenk! I also wanted to ask you - especially EL Captain - about the fact that everything is changing. I started to read the thread from the beginning (now at page 440) and simultaneously trying to adapt it. But what Ikdenk metioned I also think that everything is changing in the world, nothing remains the same. So it must be right for the FOREX as well.

What do you think about it? Everything can be used as metioned from page 1?

About the question whether the principles from post 1 still apply, well just look at how sympathy does it every day again and again.

This is also why pattern matching doesn't work, remember what CJ said "same but different", this is the base of pattern recognition. I don't care which pattern they use, all I need is to know that they repeat. Spot the pattern source and expect the repetition.

To add to my previous post, here an example how I would trade those continuos double patterns:

Target depending on patern size 2R or 3R if possible

First post here. Ive been trading kinda the CJ method, though I use volume as well as I find it helps.

Today, classic M pattern. Note the high volume on the first leg up high - Fox is active but must be selling. The purple bars signify very high volume. Then not much volume up on second leg.- Fox has what he is after, and with little buying he can then force price down without the threat of unwanted buyers ruining his plans.

I'm still not very good, but am over 50% up since I started 2/3 months ago. Only a small account, but I hope to improve and get larger once I'm confident enough. Hoping to learn from the good guys on here...
