Hi AGT; Further to my post above, here is the link to the CF Gold EA performance I am running as a demo. I make adjustments to this once in a while. The idea is to run many pairs with a reasonable risk, right now it is set at 2.5%. I don't run pairs that don't trade much, after doing some analysis I spoke of a few posts above. You are right ... could test it further - BUT I'm focussing until now on the Matilda. I dont have enough space on my computer for all the long lasting tests. AND: I have this bot also on my VPS (MANDL2007) - see link below. :hi: |

Ok - monday the US markets are closed. BUT after sep 01 summer break is over and perhaps some more and more volatility will come back. As you may observe I switched off most of all the bots except the Matilda (and the CF Gold). (One very new EA is included: "Fractalated Bob".) The reason for switching off is easy: I'm focussing now only on the Matilda and I dont have enough space on the comp to run to much accounts simultaneously. AND: at the end we can live use only one or two accounts itself, furthermore, if the choosen bot does the job right - nothing more is needed to make money. Certainly I'm far away to say the bots I stoped cant make money - maybe even these ones are the survivers after future market stormes ? Who knowes ? Perhaps someone is going on with testing of that bots I abandoned and could tell one day what he got ? Anyway - I'm running now a lot of demos with single pairs on the matilda. Already after some weeks it's obviously, that some pairs go in deep DD's and may stay there of course for a long time. That's the reason for deepest DD's the matilda with multiple pairs is suffering atm ! They look terrible bcz included are some "nasty" (for this bot/settings) pairs ! So the best strategy would be in the future livetrading to use the EA from the start indeed with one or max. two pairs only ! Every additional pair will certainly increase the DD significantly even using the "best" of them. So the most convenient approach should be the accretion of further pairs only step by step, after substancial growth of the equity caused by the starting one-pair-trading ! BUT: which pairs would be best to add, which of them are favorits ? I'm trying to find this out running that single pair demos. May be this helps ? On the other hand a good working pair could tomorrow go bad bcz of clear change in market conditions ... noone can predict the crazy price movements. So far we see that the recommended GBPUSD is really doing a pretty good job ! Nice !  The CAD pairs seem to be very bad - at least for these settings ... or at least for the recent market conditions ? Atm - AUDUSD, GBPJPY, AUDCAD (ups - the CAD ?), EURNZD and surprsingly the exotics USDSGD, SGDJPY + USDTRY are working well. BUT all these demos are running less then a month and all what we see is only a spot for the given moment ! So watch frequently these single pair demos for any changes that may occur tomorrow yet ! _______________________________________________ Another remark about the matilda. The "matilda-BB" seems to work pretty good. Not so much trades, or to be more precisely: only a few trades arise - but all are winners so far. So, is that the new rising star ? ________________________________________________ The only alternative EA I'm regarding is the CF Gold bcz of "Another Brians" impressive results and sure by reason of his thorough and continued work on this bot. Maybe it's time for me to retun to this bot and jump into the CF Gold 6 ?  |

Seems this week will be busy data wise so these demos of yours will have a good stress test  |

Hi brinol ! :hi: I use the blessing Jose posted earlier: "Blessing 3 v3.9.6.08Mod3.1" ! I think this one is the only here in use both for the original matilda settings + the BB-settings ! AND yes - zum zum's account with the bull runner looks indeed very good !! Will have a closer glance on it from time to time - I myself will optimize the matilda, every one who likes can participate in the results ! |

Hi chaps ! :hi: The Matilda accounts using more then ONE pair from the start are now in deep doo-doo. Even the newly started Matilda acc with "better" pairs like GU/GJ/AU/US/SJ is feeling the DD ! So it seems to me more and more, that a strong rule must be: start any account with the Matilda using only ONE pair (best GBPUSD !) + 0.01 lot (min 3k capital). Make perhaps "only" 5% per month.  AND then: move on, add other pairs only step by step, after balance growth of at least 50 % ! Earn green pips ! Go ahead ! Come off as a winner ! Nothing can stop you !
