Sushi I like your thinking, cause I was thinking the exact same thing. :lol: For perhaps stronger opportunities, open a few D1 charts and take a look. Particularly, issues that aren't quite so choppy. Looks very useful.

Hmm thanks I like the D1 idea in combination with this. I only looked at the one chart I had open (USDJPY), but it seems like a good idea.

I guess I have to teach myself MQ4 now and create that! :D

Sorry guys, been honing my skills doing naked trading so have been neglecting the EA.

Anyway so called ranging market now so this EA or 10.5 will get butchered. GOod time for u guys to try out and tell me what works what doesnt.

I'm flooded with work so didnt really have time to do anything major

Hope you guys can come up with some trading logics which i can them implement in the EA

will probably be looking at configurable logic and parsing somethin like

BuyPending=(Price>240MA & RSI <2...)

if any god coders is able to help with this, i would greatly appreciate

will be using steve's shell code for the new EA code

I was sleeping a few minutes ago and came up with an idea for these 10.x EA's.

It's very easy, using CSS, to detect which pairs are ranging, trending, which ones are in retrace (pullback to 240MA). I have to go to work soon, so I'll post pics either tonight or somewhere this weekend to indicate what I mean.

Could be easily possible to code this into EA. I think you know what I mean, but I'll explain later with examples anyway.

Hi Kwanann, heres a little pic from first few days of the EA. Had a hit from first trade and then recovered at the end of the week.
Will have link posted on demo soon.

Yup same. In fact one thing I realized with most of NB ea, they tend to end up more or less at break even after a few months of running.

Just realized for some strange reason, myfxbook is not updating anymore for my test ea..

Thanks for the EA - it really looks promising.
I have been playing with it for a while and does a lot of trades, which is good but I'm trying to limit its scope to only trade within S1, WP and R1, not outside that. I see there are settings for entryBefore, etc and the different R/S levels but how does the setting work? Do I pick a number corresponding to the level?

Hi All
Been running version e OOTB settings for 2 days on a demo GP account. Pairs are gbpusd, eurusd, usdjpy, usdcad, nzdusd, audusd, audnzd, audcad, audchf, audjpy, usdchf.
So far up 2% however, not had any any sell trades. Gone through the logic but can't find anything wrong with the code (not that I'm an experienced coder on Empty4). Could be that the pairs above have all had only buy setup.
