dd is common in every trading system.

I am not sure my thinking is right. Since the trades hedge against each other, there will be open floating loss, sometimes significant, when the cross rates are out of balance. However, it will come back into balance when things settle. So if you hold on, eventually it will go the other way and hit the profit target. Then the cycle starts again.

If this is correct, it is quite safe but it is a very slow earner. I am continuing the demo running at 0.1 lot, the amount of gain is minimal. It will be more meaningful if a larger lot is traded.

Is my understanding correct or am I missing something ? I like to hear your view.

no it's correct, but please note that eurusd is moving in a range of 60 pips up and down since tuesday , so no big gain is possible .

but once it starts up or down massively it will end up in profit .

When it's ranging it cumulates dd ( sometimes ) , but as soon as a trend comes it will close the position and start again.this one is good if you have 50k and want to do 10% montly with low risk.....

if you use right position size it's pretty impossible to get burned.

If it is really safe, I don't mind to invest 50K and get 10% per month. I just wonder will there be any event that can burn my account. In addition, I have to find a reliable and safe broker, any suggestion ?

i have ratio working simple put on ea as original lot size 1 ful lot put on also on the thee lucksoms ea take profit 120 no stop loss after 2 weeks finaly 4 to 1 sales growth to stock

system worth looking at my simple evaluation run during day time adelaide time 4 am to 5pm
turn off simple do what ea says take profits add on ect modify do as lucksomes says

dont hassel use both together simple it seems to work

test hot trader demo opening 10 k account using 1 full lot on ea
running with luksomes 12 pips

at least evaluation period after 2 weeks so far so good

just only difference 12 pips no stop loss or be
so far
pretty simple why complicate it it works

basically you had right but .... I had that kind of situation: eurusd and usdchf made both sell. And it worked well for beginning. it took out some profits. But one moment I had there eurusd sells AND 5 usdchf sells ..... and I had there nice minus. AND the price was lets say 1.3700. So it was 70 pips in wrong tirection. If price would changed at this moment direction then in price 1.3000 I would have 5 minus orders and 2 almost zero orders .... so lets think now .... when I would get my profit .... maybe 1.2900. But I sell righr pair with double lot and I won much earlier time. But that dont count as you see ... I was just luck. That was my point

here is my results using the ea running with lucksome ea as well 12 pip profit turning om at 4 am adelaide time off 5 pm adelaide time on an off during the day . semi auto mode DOING THAT I CONTROL DD
