Hi Folks,

Great EA, just one small issue, at times it refuses to open new trades in the grid progression which leads to losses. Anyone else experiencing this issue? This occurs on all three versions available.

Hmmm ... look the 3 versions in my "portfolio" below - I have that issue only with the firstly posted version of this EA. The later 2 posted are doing well so far - the "B" version ist quite aggressive.

Hi Anpar,
I wonder if you have read the whole 13 pages here? If so I am sorry to repeat myself, but this EA is different to most grid traders as it opens new trades on 'candle close' or every 4 hours as this is the recommended TF. This 'candle close' format of this EA actually saves you money because it does not open trades every 10 pips say. I suggest you download the latest version, maybe page 10 or 11 I think, try on tester on various currencies to experience it then load demo and wait, as this EA is not a fast oil burning EA that you get burnt every day. Average trades last 1-3 days with some up to 2 weeks!!

Hi Charles,

Thanks for your reply and I understand the original intent of the EA, with that said, I've tried to adapt this EA to my temperament and personality, shorter time frames smaller profit. Granted, I might not get the ideal results due to not going with the recommended TF, but that is why we demo and try different combinations.

As for results, EURTRY is a beast and you all would be wise to include this pair in your basket.

JPY pairs are hard to manage, need to ensure you got the right "pip step" and lot progression. Same can be said for XAUUSD.

Another pair to include should be EURZAR, another constant money maker. To be honest, you could get away with just trading EURTRY and EURZAR and you would be alright.

I've had this "bot" on demo since it was posted, blew a few demo's searching for the right set-up, I'm getting close, if trades opened at the required "pip step", it would be great, if not, no big deal, I would just lose on a few grids. (main reason I like this bot is because of the RSI hard close, another reason I like TFs smaller than 4hr, lower probability of blowing the account)

FYI, "New" demos I've open, I still have a couple of longer running demo which are constantly being tweaked. These demos may go up in smoke, we shall see.

Hi Anpar,
Many thanks for your advice re EURTRY and EURZAR I shall test these out. Yep, we are all welcome to test out this EA and find different options depending on your appetite etc. I only recommended the 4hr TF because it works over and over and as you will find the shorter TF's will basket close you with losses. Obviously i don't care what TF you use, just don't complain here about steps not working or baskets closing in losses with other TF because with 4hr TF this system is stable and very successful.

P.S. EURZAR is not hard coded into Magic Number system, so best to put Magic number above 50.

Hi Dudest,

I've been trading live with ICMarkets for the last 3 years, all my demos are with these guys.

EURTRY current spread is around 9, but it will jump to 25 plus at NY close
EURZAR current spread is around 50, but hovers around 20 and can go as high as 100 after NY close.

If you look at my results, spread is not really a big factor. With spreads so high, how can I trade lower time frames or am I.
