Thanks for the link. Interesting equity and balance curves.
You have to analyze this one however from August 16th as obviously a completely different set file was running before (before August 16th H1, SL and TP items were present).

After August 16th, monthly performance of 2.24% (on 10k basis), profit factor, expectancy, etc. appears in line with some other Awesome MTF sets.
But the lack of DD is impressive. I hope Marx64 will publish his set file so we can study it, and apply insights to further tests.

Can't find though where you got the 25pip spacing from?

Here is a thing that i learned on this forum.The time spent on analysing other EA could be more useful if you think on your way of trading. Trying to think how others trade has brought to me only frustration. You learn more and better understand the way EA works and also your view of the market if you put your mind to it.
If there is a set file i am happy to look at and see how it trades, but if it isn't then i move on.

Marx64 has already done us a big favor by letting us see the trades and which ea he is using. But i don't care. I'll find my way.

I think we might agree to disagree. :smile:
I do like to analyze shared data and set-files. Not to use the set-files as such, but more as a lead to new insights, and ideas for further testing. For me the most interesting part is trying to find 'why' certain settings work. And as one is always limited in time and resources, you can never do all the tests that you would like. So to me any additional quality (>1 month) data sets are very welcome.
BTW I agree that Marx64 does us a big favor sharing these data.
If you dig down into the data, there is a lot of information in there. E.g. I really like that he used different magics and comments. Interesting that 1M and 15M did so much better than 5M and 30M. Something to replicate and evaluate when I do MTF tests myself.

Hello everybody,

I see that my Awesome50€TP forward test has created some interest. Let's clarify couple of things:

1. I changed the set file on August 22, so results before that date are not relevant. I changed the custom start date in myfxbook as well.

2. It's nothing more and nothing less than old good TJF-s weekly set file from page 23. I just changed Global Basket trading/ Basket Cash TP from 150 to 50. I think that's the only change I made. It runs on V1f.

But I must say that I'm pretty impressed by the performance myself, as I had no high hopes for those settings. I put it to Amazon VPS which can barely run this thing and practically forgot it for couple of weeks.

I have no good explanation why it works so well but hey, I'm not complaining :P

All glory goes to TJF for the set file.

For sure I'm not the only one who tested those settings, what is your experience?

Hi everyone. Marx kindly provided me with his set file last night and so far its off to a flyer as you can see. I am also going to try variations of this to see if if we can improve any further. I also have a spare slot on my VPS should anyone wish me to experiment with other settings.

Very nice results indeed. I see that the biggest difference between 1f and 1g is the multi timeframe adaption of the tradeclosures using SS.

Can you post the awesome v1f mq4 file? The oldest one I can find is v1g.
