New indicator DWMPivots, v1.0.0 in post 2.
DWNPivots, screen I.png
Indicator shows daily, weekly and monthly pivots including support and resistance lines. This one is highly configurable.

Let me know if this one finds a place on your charts. If you need changes, let me know.

I was also going to put a new pivot Indicator together...

Looks good Paul - thanks. One request I would have is being able to show or hide the levels for a particular timeframe - e.g. I don't want to see the daily pivot on timeframes > H4 as it's just noise and makes text overlap etc.

Could we define a general rule for this? Maybe 'don't display lines if timeframe >= type of pivot' or something to the same effect? Do you want this to apply on the S&R lines too?

That would do for me - exactly as you describe. And yes it would apply to SR too.

I would suggest others comment and agree/disagree before you do any work though Paul but it looks to be the only way to go to me. You just don't need any of those lines displayed - they clutter up the screen and are of no use.

Very nice, Paul! You do beautiful work.

Minor kvetch: the dotted lines to the right of the price actually overlap the last few bars. If you zoom out a bit, the labels overlap too. Would be nice to have them clearly to the right so there's no difficulty reading them.

It might be nice if there was some way to know the D-W-M order if they're not all on the screen. Maybe something like 3 colored dots in the lower-right corner, showing the order of the 3 pivots?

The S/R lines at the right are good for realtime trading. It would be nice if they were available for visual backtesting too, though you'd want to be able to shut them off. Otherwise the chart gets way too cluttered.

Also, elusive bug: On a D1 AUDCAD chart, the weekly pivot was 0 before 6/11/12. Other pairs and tf's I checked were OK. Then I switched to W1 AUDCAD and back to D1 AUDCAD, and now D1 is OK. !? I can't make it happen again. I attached a screen shot so you can see I wasn't hallucinating...

Odd behavior, not sure if it's a concern or not: when I start a new chart / pair / tf, the daily and monthly pivots are stable. The weekly pivot starts out at one level and then replots the most recent pivot as soon as a tick comes in. Maybe not an issue, but I thought it might indicate a deeper issue. BUT after I "fixed" the D1 AUDCAD weekly pivot, it no longer does that??
