forexperiments,
i checked your set file, the only thing i can see is your BE setting is at false.

I also dont know if leaving the 'always on' (first option) option to false will help. I always have that to true myself.

You need this BE enabled for the TS, JS etc to work. There is a comment in the code of MPTM explaining this.
whether this will help i doubt it unless these can be changed to STEALTH in the EA. i am unable to do this and dont know if any able programmer/coder can help out here.

I often have a 130 error too on my EA's, but after checking the values changed, they are correct.!

have'nt put my finger on this one quite yet.

Otherwise i understand what you are trying to do and i think its a very good idea, i just dont know if there is a way around the stealth/criminal rule issue.
Nice one, sorry i cant help further and will look out if there is a solution in the future. Would definately try to use a similar setup myself.

Steve, In the description of the MPTM it sates the: ManageBasketTrades: set this to 'true' to manage a basket of trades. Setting this to 'false' turns off all the features in this section. Is it also correct that when ManageBasketTrades=true, then all non-basket settings are disabled? I ask this because I want to trade baskets, but I still want a extreme stop loss for each individual trade. This is to prevent one trade to go extremely sour in a profitable basket and thereby influencing the profit.

trailing SL and partial close used together EA 'seems' to repeatedly close the orders, liked the preserve lots approach, anywhere I can get older version of MPTM Great code btw, top man for sharing !!

Forexperiments wrote: What I've done wrong? hello, i think you would have to check with your criminal if you can set a sl or tp so close. i believe, like mine, avafx, you must have a value, higher value than twice the spread. you might want to try the same set file with a crim that doesnt have a spread and charges a fixed amount for positions. Carefull because those charges can eat you alive though. cent by cent they add up. hope this helps. let us know please. regards cuzgeorge

no, I can't set a SL or TP so close That's why I want to have a "stealth" SL points (the EA checks the price value and closes manually at the set value)

I disabled the always on, otherwise I couldn't edit the settings anymore (this is by design, right? because the ea is running an endless loop) Later I'll try in demo to enable the breakeven

Also, as per STeve's suggestion, Hard coding the settings into the MPTM is the best solution and then turn it on 'true' for always on. then you're mind will rest with mptm doing what you want it to do. I am attaching a set file and a pic. If the set file does'nt do what you want it to do, can you see if turning to 'true' the highlighted area--- if it doesnt work. Then try again with the 'trail after BE' set to true. Could you allow for the trail after BE in your strategy because then it just might work.? Let me know please. i tried it on usdchf by opening a buy and a sell at the same time. the sell closed almost immediately and the buy just went into hectic DD. regards cuzgeorge
