Also watch the nzd line on the 4H, since it likes to follow the aud, if it crosses the euro currencies you will want to sell the euro currencies and buy nzd. That will probably be tomorrow but may happen late euro or usa sessions. Lagging indi .................. sheesh.

Notice the aud on top on the daily CSS and it is crossing the eur, chf, and gbp. So look today for buying the aud against the eur, chf, and gbp.
1. The aud is higher than the eur, chf, gbp on the daily CSS and is now moving higher on the 4H.
2. The aud could move above the +20 line on this move showing that it will be strong. If the eur, chf, and/or the gbp move below the 0 it will be a good move.
3. If the eur, chf, and/or gbp move below the -20 line and the aud stays above the +20 line that creates a let your winner run scenario and you would hold onto the trade.

With just the advice I just gave on these last several posts you should have a really really good week.

Bob thanks for the new CSS. Was starting to get in the groove with the last version only I have been using it more for confirmation than searching for 10.6 setups after getting the read. I expect to progress.

I hate to say it but right now, Oanda is beginning to feel strangely like my destiny. They stopped at build 600,while over the weekend both Axitrader and CITIFX went through 604 and are now at 610.

Axi's 610 does get closer to 10.6 indis working, but I was really planning on going live with CITI later in the spring. Maybe it's the suffixes on Citi's pairs. Still working on getting it parsed out so we'll see.

Anyway, thanks again.

If I hadnt been with I B F X USA for years and years Oanda probably would be my best choice for a USA broker. I B F X has done the same thing and not updated immediately. They test the update first to make sure it is working before putting it out so I often get updates on a delayed basis. It has kept my Empty4 running fairly smoothly throughout the years. If you like trading big accounts then you may want to look at Tradestation. They bought out I B F X several years ago and that is a common platform of the big boys. I have a friend who has used it for years and loves it. I simply dont want to trade in those amounts of money at this time but I am getting close. Problem is I dont know if CSS would work inside Tradestation or if they have a similar product in it. Either way I have been satisfied with my broker and have not had any issues with them in years.

I am glad FXsol finally bit the dust, and have not had any good luck with foreign brokers. I do have a small account with Easy-Forex and have tripled my money there but have never tried taking any of it out. They had a promotion of adding 20% to your deposit and I decided to try them out. I am having fun trading the eur/nok norwegian Kroner there. It has a 50 pip spread and has moved over 2200 pips in two weeks. Egads what a pair to trade. With hedging I just do a buy and a sell and wait for one to hit a nice 400 pips profit and then it will reverse and get back to a small profit the other way. You talk about action within a range whooo boy. Now you know what I do for excitement. :)

HEARD THAT!
Marc Walton at FMP where I have a membership, really great bunch of guys, He's been trading that pair here recently but just mentions trading it, not for us noobs.

So of the little I do know, I understand everyone widens their spreads during the news, but then lots of rants lately out there about them being excessive in this, and then I ran into this
http://forexmagnates.com/exclusive-q4-u ... -slipping/

I trade around the red flags not through them so not too worried. But I hate hearing about spikes on reports that aren't even red flag. But then again with school and all, I am only just getting back into trading some this month again so I'll keep an eye on it and see for myself before I pass judgement.

As far as big trades, I only go half a percent per trade. Open maybe five max if the setups are there. No CT for me right now, just trying to flow with the trend.

So only going in one direction, it's funny how some days I don't see anything which for me I count as growth, and then other days there's so darn many It's a job making up my mind
I'm real easy on the throttle right now, REAL EASY!

thanks Bob for sharing, :)
has anyone managed to get this new test version mq4 to work on fxprimus?

does any of the previous mq4 files need to be removed or just adding this new file into the experts/indicators folder would work?
i can't seem to get it to work

thanks to advise :)

You can try the attached one it will compile without warnings and has StringSubstrOld for full 6xx support..
see here: http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =15&t=3439
Just place it in the new mql4/indicator folder if you don't know how to find this folder in the 6xx build try this :

In the 6xx build the place where are present the directories like config, history, logs, templates ecc. is mostly different to the main Empty4 installation folder.
The only way to find out where the correct "Data folder" location is, is to read the "Journal" log of Empty4.
The second line from start reports the used Data folder.

10.6 CSS EDSEL F 24 pairs.mq4
Thats really a good new version! Thanks a lot.

But the old one had a function that i more like.
I set the same indi at the same window two times. One with D1 fix and one with timeframe = auto.
So I had the D1 and H4 lines at the same time at the same window. With the new edition of that indi that will no work longer. :(
