This is version 40b the official version and still have the same issue. No point letting it run if gradually the EA will close the trades out with a loss.

Phil,

Those 2 extra addition will not kill the EA. As you see from my post above I already turned off all those settings and the EA still runs perfectly, just the annoying closure thing is what we need to look at. That is not necessary at all in my opinion.
Being able to set TP is just me asking for it, if not possible then I just set it manually, but that takes a lot of time.

Those 2 extra addition will not kill the EA. As you see from my post above I already turned off all those settings and the EA still runs perfectly, just the annoying closure thing is what we need to look at. That is not necessary at all in my opinion.

you've been trading this EA for like one months. I would just trust a few years backtesting from Phil (who obviously knows what is doing) more than a few months of live/demo testing. Don't get me wrong I am not placing myself ahead of you, it is just that Phil knows MM for 3-4 years and we've only been introduced to her a few months back.

Again, I am happy that you are making pips for the time being. Just saying that in the long term you might be better off without departing too much from Phil's orginal idea.

Having said that, there is probaly room for some improvement (which was, I believe, the reason why Phil shared MM in the first place) then I guess keep the community posted

UseCloseOn3MACD set this to false (OOTB it is true!) and the CloseMACD Modul is off

Hi Zyp,

it is genuine trade exit(3MACD are against us running), but in ranging markets it could cause too closures in "bad" moments, Marylin is a trend trading and loving EA so she has as all kind of this bots problems in ranging markets.. nobody is perfect

That is exactly my aim here too, to keep it developing as much as it is possible. As you see I found the original version the most profitable up to this point.
A few month of LIVE testing is good enough for me. Back test I do not trust at all. I burnt my finger too many times with relying on backtest reports and running the EA's on live.
I actually run about 10 different setups of this EA, but only those I posted are linked to MyFXbook and have promising results.

As I said this EA is far better than I have seen for a very loooong time.
