Hey Phil,

ranging zone detection will be a must. When using trend following EAs you always want to cut the ranging zones out. However, I don't know of an EA that would do that successfully. If the EA manages to avoid most of the ranging market, it usually is less profitable because misses part of the subsequent trend move. There are plenty of ranging market detection modules out there. Don't really know which one would work best with MM but I have the feeling that you already have an idea……

One account with Global Prime and one with IC Markets.

Both runs with the TP settings on with 15 pip profit closure per trade.

In my opinion the 2 most important issues had been addresses in this version:

1. Take profit option for each individual pairs and trades

2. And the possibility to disable the function called : UseCloseOn3MACD. (this was in "my opinion only", the reason the accounts were loosing sometimes because the trades were closed out with a quite large loss. In my opinion it is better to run all trades as long as they either close out with the TP function or by the Global closure function. Either way sooner or later you always end up with an equity growth. Even if some trades go against you.) Sometimes it might take a bit longer but during the years of trading I found this option the best. An EA like MM which has so accurate entry points is ideal for this type of trading.)

In my opinion, you just add / remove the 2 most important modules of Marilyn

Fixed TP could win on short term...but what after ? please refer to my benchmark 2009-2013
UseCloseOn3MACD in the virtual SL that allow Marilyn to change its mind, and catch a trend.
