10.4 A Complete System

I have been using very small lot sizes to start so I could get a good feel of this system first. Bob--I am in awe. Each week has been over 400 pips and right now I am 365 pips in floating profit, plus what I have banked already this week. Next week I will increase risk to .5 - 1% per trade.

I must have the wrong version of this info page. Mine does not show the pips, only profit and does not have the info in the upper right, is this from post #1?

I set up my own adding a couple things so I could see more on one page.

I also added the dashboard posted earlier in this thread which I added again below.

The news indicator is something you can get free, but I am not sure if I am allowed to post it on this thread so if you want that send me a PM and I will send you the link.

I’ve managed to correct Pivots and MidPivots indicators (see attachments).
>>(TimeDayOfWeek(Time[i+1])!=0)<< statement should take care of the Sunday bar(s). I also added ON/OFF switch for extension lines, done some “reorganizing” but the main logic is the same.
The only problem is that for some strange reason extension lines in both indicators are not showing when you choose to display them for MidPivots. This is beyond my knowledge of MQ4 … , perhaps someone can fix this (?)

getting some of my $200 back a little at a time. happy 10.4 is working for me so far. thanks for all the helpful info bob, mike, Wiggy1965, and anyone else i forgot. doesn't look like much but it's a lot for me.

I think you are trading too big, you are trading 6 micro lots on this trade which is using over 75% of you account balance in margin alone...that's way too much for such a small account like this...

is the RSI2 a custum indicator cause everything I try I can not get the RSI period 2 to show 100 as it does in the Dashboard? Any ideas?

From what I noticed, dashboard will round the number without decimal. so that 100 on dashboard, could be RSI 99.5xx on the chart.

But it does not appear to be that value?
Here is a 4 hour chart and a daily. The daily is the closest.

Hi Chris,

Hopefully I got this one right, if this's wrong, somebody correct me plz. If you look at the 10.4 template, look for RSI property, you can find that RSI applied to First Indicator's Data. Usually if you insert new indi the common price would be: open price, close price, high, low etc. In this case I think the First Indicator's Data would be the data obtained from NT TMATrue SlopeHisto MTF indicator which was dragged first to the indicator window.

Load the 10.4 template from page one of this thread; that will give you all of the correct indicators.
