Man you need to cut your losses as fast as you can, not let them rise. It was only level 2 why you sell here? Strategy is only a small percentage of overall success on forex, psychology and money management are the key to success.

Protect your capital don't let it to "evaporate" from your account, never “average down” a losing long position or “average up” a losing short position. Wait for trade not chase it.

Nice. If you look at that trade on a higher t/f chart you may well have entered in the pins. (can not check at the moment) In any case I think your trade is what CJ had in mind.
What do you guy's think of the current GBPJPY chart?
I am stuck short with some orders and am looking for a retrace for days :arrrg:

I have had a brief look at the chart and based on my own level strategy that I'm working on.

Over the next few months, price will rise to 179 before falling to 133.

But I could be totally wrong.

EDIT: I wouldn't get into this Long trade myself on this pair unless it hit 165.

The pair dropped some today, 100 pips from the HOD. Will this also be the HOW?

Well that depends on what timeframe you're referring to. If you take last August as our starting point then I believe we have had 3 levels down and we could be in nearing the end of Level 1 going back up currently.

But then again I could be totally wrong. Not really following this pair, just had a quick look.

Hi Gertje,

I think GBPJPY is at Level 3 at the moment on the hourly chart and would expect it to make one more leg up before reversing. Should know in the next couple of days.
