I think this is because sunday bar, even you set "addSundayToMonday = true".
I compare 4 brokes -
2 without sunday bar(Bully Pepperstone, XeMarkets) - I got NZD under JPY ,
2 with sunday bar(FXCM, ActivTrades) - I got NZD above JPY,

OH boy here comes that hole debate again. Last time it was with the daily and weekly opens along with pivots. Lots of fun. Coders have fun with this one. The important issue is the comparison of strength relative to each other.

Hi guys, I want to post a stopped out trade I took earlier in the week. I've posted some that worked and today I want to explore what could've gone wrong with this one. My entry was at the green line just above DP and it entered just before it retraced towards 60 MA.

1. First and more obvious issue could be a tight stop loss, it was placed on 60MA at 170.00, when trade could still be considered valid at this moment
2. I've not yet taken a grasp on CSS, so the error could be there, although at the time of the trade GBP was stronger than JPY

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

You placed your trade at the top of the highs and it should be just above those highs so you catch the breakout. So place your trade a little higher and wait for the break up higher than the previous hjghs.
Also see the sharp points on the STO7 as price moves back down. That is an indicator that price will move more strongly in that direction.

Also since price has hit the 60 MA its chances of breaking out are not that good.

Possible CSS reads for Friday.

The top three on the daily are aud, nzd, and gbp. This could be a rally in an UT prediction or rally in a range area. If they continue to cross up and eur, chf, cad, and possibly usd cross down you could see some nice trades later in the day. Eur or USD sessions. So that is where I will be looking. Go to the 4H chart and see if anything is there. :)

Ok now I get it :good:

Interesting to me how in AXI trader build Empty4 build 610 my chart is EXACTLY the same read as yours, and I'm at EST. This is encouraging to know I have it working right. This is from the most recent download link you posted back up top.

I also see now I need to stay away from the shorter time frames right? I confused myself with those today realizing it's just noise. Accurate, but just that. Noise.

Thanks for the clarification of the strategy Bob. I can start the learning process now.

morning all, seems all the trades bob is suggesting looking at are stuck in a range at the moment, unless i'm not reading it correctly, maybe when new york opens things could move
