It is because the order management section in void StartEA() iterates through the open trades, not all the symbols.

Originally, void GetMarketInfo(string symbol) did not include a pip factor calculation because this was always held in Paul's symbolValues array. The pip factor needs calculating afresh for each trade/symbol/whatever being examined each time it is examined.

So: the call to

within the management loop within StartEA() left out a calculation of the pip factor (variable 'factor') which could leave factor = 0 which resulted in a zero divide when (BreakEvenPips / factor) was evaluated in void BreakEvenStopLoss().

The reason this error did not come to light before is: it only applied to profitable 10.2 trend trades, and there have been damn few of those so far. :lol:

Hi guys,

I just have a couple of things...

1...I'm testing GFT and they appear to have there charts set to GFT, does the mean i modify my instance of BBBE to reflect Zero (0) from GMT...?

2...I'm having difficulty getting the two EA output screens to display, i can only seem to get the table....I did notice Steve's post about modifying the "DisplayGapSize" to Zero (0) which i have done, with no joy...

3...I'm wanting to understand the Jump behavior for the Scalp Trades...Could i get further clarity on how "JumpIncrementPips" "NegativeIncrementPips" and "PsitiveIncrementPips" work...? What I'm trying to do with my scaples, i have a large profit target and i would like to trade to break even after 10 pips, then reduce the stop lost by one of two pips after each following 10 pip gain....I may not end up using it quiet like this, but just trying to figure out how the EA behaves....

Any help would be appreciated....

PS, I'm enjoying watching this project grow up, I have never been involved in this kind of thing before and I'm really enjoying it...

@ Steve : I see two JSL's for 10.2, one just above the 10.2 input module in Jump Input, the other in the JSL settings below the BE module of 10.2. Are they for the same activity? Also what variables will be taken into a/c for JSL 10.2, former or later? If any of the queries posted by me sound dumb, please direct me to the right dummies thread for the same. I'm scared of the lone smart ass allowed here.

@ Bader : I was wondering about the same issue, BBBE DWM on EA and DWM on charts. I believe Paul has given the latest indi DWM 1.0.9 here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 111#p16111 which corrected the DWM time shift issue which had some bugs in the earlier version, thus corrected to 1.0.9. So now if the code in the chart version and the EA version are the same, there should be no discrepancy if the time shifts are the same. This I guess Steve or other able codes can confirm or even Paul himself that the code in BBBE EA is the same as the 1.0.9 version. And I doubt this as the figures for both differ even on the same time shift.

@ SWG123 : Can you post a set file please along with stating the version of BBBE used for it?

@ Wiggy : I was starting to wonder if I was the only one who was concerned about the issue of scalp trades first going to BE and then start jumping them and by what margin would have been the last part of it. Thanks for bringing it up. Steve, I guess we've missed this functionality for scalp trades; at your ease Sire.

Guess the market is correcting since the last two days, thus less trades. The Pound though is up for grabs. Maybe today being Wednesday, we'll see renewed momentum as suggested by TIB.

This is turning out to be one better than the best, each time anew. It's something like shooting for the Stars, even if it's missed, it'll land on the Moon.

I now am getting invalid order (error 131) due to invalid trade volume? This is on Alpari whch did take an order earlier, but now seems to have an issue.

Another bug at my end : Auto symbol : F; No display at all even when I manually put the required symbols. My demo broker is Trader'sWay, a suggestion by a member here for trial, it's default server time GMT +2, supposedly ECN, has symbols like EURUSDi,GBPJPYi, etc..

Anyone else get blank display with Auto Symbol : False ?

Which version of BBBE are you attempting to use?

You should be able to drag BBBE on to a single chart. No other charts or indicators need to be opened/added.

You need to check and change 'CriminalIsECN,' if necessary. That is the fourth input parameter shown in the dialog box that opens when you drag an EA onto a chart. Error code 130 (invalid stops) usually signifies that the b*roker doesn't support opening trades with the TP and SL defined in order open command. They need to have the SL /TP changed with a following order modify command. If that is the case, set 'CriminalIsECN' to true.

You should then see the screen fill up with information about all or most of the currency pairs that your b*roker trades.

Hello McNish,

Are you seeing anything displayed on your monitor? If you are. then ...
1) Drag a new copy of the EA onto your chart. If that doesn't improve things, then ...
2) Drag a new copy of the EA onto your chart. Set 'AutoSymbol' to true. If that doesn't improve things, then ...
3) Drag a new copy of the EA onto your chart. Set 'AutoSymbol' to false. Manually add a couple of symbols with the suffix.

One of the above selections should correct the problem. The important point is that whenever you change an input parameter for BBBE, it's best to start with a fresh copy of the EA. Using F7, or the context menu, most likely will produce unreliable results.

We are GMT+2, the only (non-dissected W1 candle) way to go!!
I run BBBE ver.g plus DWM 1.0.9 on each chart & all pivot values are exactly the same - when activated.

For me, DWM 1.0.9 pivots often do not update at the start of a day. I have to swap TF to get lines in correct place. Hence pivots values are way off.

Always used AutoSymbols = false in each EA and never had a problem but fortunately have no suffix either.
I don't want all of the other things they trade.

Hello,

For the past couple of nights I have received Alerts from the TradeManagementModule of BBBE saying that because of SL/TP issues, modify orders were being rejected. These output from alert statments, as well as the print statements were listed in the Expert Log. These order modifications, listed in the Journal Log, were actually accepted by my broker. This behavior only occurred with one order of the three that were open at the time.

I have temporarily disabled the Alert statement in the ReportError function of v1g of BBBE.
