I am new to this forum. I have studied the documentation on NB 10.4 and 10.5, but today I have a question.
example GBPJPY.
21 May 8am GMT. CSS is green, AO is nearly 0, RSI = 0. Hence, I am looking for a buying option. I put a buy stop at 1/2weeklyR1 (156.28). it got hit, and right after GBPJPY dropped to 1/2weeklyS1 (155.31). Something went wrong?

Re: 10.4/10.5 trades only
First of all welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll get a lot of help here. Looking at your trade (with hindsight) the signals you mentioned seemed correct, but I don't like the overall context here, to the left the pair has been going nowhere for a week, so there's no real momentum either way. Also on the CSS info chart, at the time mentioned, on my broker it shows that GBP and JPY were very close together moving in same direction with the GBP moving to cross below the JPY giving a very slight sell bias. There were much better setups to be taken, I would use CSS info and momentum to take the best picks of the day. Hope that helps.ak71vie wrote:I am new to this forum. She came thru afterall guys. Down she goes. I guess there is a reason for the Fibs, and combining it with Bobs system just puts it over the top.

spillini wrote:Dam guys, I am still liking the GBP/CAD even though it is flirting with the 240. As you can see I am scaled in pretty good here. Let me explain please: I am a firm believer in Fibs and when I put it together with Bobs system, I get another insight into a pair. Check out where the price touched. It went to 61.8% level of the 4 hr move from 4/25 to 5/13. An 18 day move that is ripe for a short. Thus, My stop was left out until I could see this price break that fib level. It turns out that I may have been right. Hope this helps explain why I am staying in past the 240. You see, I consider the 240 as an area and not just a line.
PS, sometimes you just have to grow a set and go for it...LOL
2nd chart is a close up.

Here is another you can run Fibs on. Bobs system says short, and she is just shy of the 61.8 % Fib level.

CSS changed to red in the last H4 candle in your pic. If you want to cut losses early this is your cue to exit the position. Then just wait for another goldenrod and set your pending buy stop(s) againak71vie wrote:I am new to this forum. I have studied the documentation on NB 10.4 and 10.5, but today I have a question.

I.m now in CT mode for aud pairs. Based on naked trading, aud pairs have reached their limits, might have an additional push based on 240ma, but that's about it. Going to use those lines in reverse for my scaling and TP levels

Re: 10.4/10.5 trades only
2nd day really using CSS and decided to test throw what i figure.
these are the bullish n bearish pairs.
(i didn't believe the downslope of the GBP(red) versus upsloping EUR(blue) at the start of yesterday but over the course of the trading day that slope played out to my detrimental effect. i learn best when i feel it.
so here goes. bullish USD/EUR bearish NZD/AUD
check 4H for RSI2 condition & above/below 240line.
entered a short AUDUSD at 0.979-ish. (and its in profit now)
yesterday's EURNZD had a 60 pip drawdown but came good in the end.

Ithink CSS will work great with Jack's stuff. You have a future outlook from CSS and great entrance points from his patterns. FIB guys will find this info useful, basically CSS will work with any known system and get a jump on what to look for next.Jemook wrote:CSS changed to red in the last H4 candle in your pic. My problem now is not my computer at work. I cant seem to connect with Cowboy IBFX server from my work location but I can at home. I can t even get to their website from work either. So the issue for me is not Empty4 and the charts but internet blockage. Maybe China doesnt want me to trade while I am working. LOL
