Hi Rene
Is that possible to add Risk Percentage in possible next version as we already have SLpips. We get an idea how much we are risking per trade and manage trade by one of Trade manager or Manual exit.
Thanks -AK

Hi Guys
Being an Ma trader for many years now there is something I need to share....As I said before the 240 Linear weighted Ma is my holy grail, my main trade direction, there is also a point at which currencies change direction and that is what I am interested in, In all the years I have been watching charts the 240 ma has been significant on each and every time frame we have on Empty4. Now in order to catch a medium term swing we need to start watching what is happening on the 4 hr chart. Price will most of the time start to swing in the opposite direction if the 21 Lwma has crossed over the 60 Lwma on the 4 hr t/frame. So therefore if we convert the 60 Lwma from the 4hr t/frame it becomes the 240 linear weighed Ma on the 1hr t/frame and this is what I start concentrating on. and work my way down to the 15 min or 5 min t/frame
So if u are looking at this method you can either use for your ea "method of calculation" Single line Ma or Ma crossover...Single line would be: 1hr 240 Lwma > 30min 240 Lwma > 15 min 240 lwma > 5 Min Lwma
or u can use Ma crossover 240 Lwma and 60 Lwma in the same sequence as above.
Now lets say I am looking at the single line method from 1 hr down to 15 min this is what I would look at in my manual trading. My 533 stochs on the 15 min t/frame would be my timer for the entry. In his case would have to cross down from 80 downwards and my entry conditions would be met or I use the holy grail trend indicator in conjunction with the stochs the perfect entry.
Rene Is there a possibility we could have stochs included in the Ea at all?

My thoughts are to use the wealth of information from the dashboard, not only for our entries, but also for our exits. MAD-EA is BUYing a currency pair XXXYYY, if the currency group XXX is strong (as measured by the required number of UP arrows on the specified time frames) and if the currency group YYY is weak (as measured by the DOWN arrows). The idea is to exit this BUY if either the currency group XXX, is strong_exhausted, or the currency group YYY is weak_exhausted. The terms strong_exhausted and weak_exhausted are again defined by the number of UP arrows and DOWN arrows respectively, and configurable per time frame. Something like: if you need 5 UP arrows to be Strong, you can argue that with less than 2 UP arrows the Strength is exhausted.
Problem with MAs is of course is that they lag -- and you might be late to the party: late for entry and late for exit.
I am testing this idea now as we speak and will upload the update if this has some legs.
Some people are measuring the gap/ratio between the bid and the quote to determine the momentum. If it is wider, momentum is getting higher, narrower, getting slower. Here is the formula I get somewhere:
Steps to calculate the Pip Relative Strength:
Calculate the Pip Range from high / low of each pair.
1. Calculate the Bid Ratio: (Bid – Low)_/ Pip Range
2. Get the equivalent value of the result form this table
If (bid_ratio >= 0.97) Ind_strength = 9; else
If (bid_ratio >= 0.90) Ind_strength = 8; else
If (bid_ratio >= 0.75) Ind_strength = 7; else
If (bid_ratio >= 0.60) Ind_strength = 6; else
If (bid_ratio >= 0.50) Ind_strength = 5; else
If (bid_ratio >= 0.40) Ind_strength = 4; else
If (bid_ratio >= 0.25) Ind_strength = 3; else
If (bid_ratio >= 0.03) Ind_strength = 2; else
If (bid_ratio >= 0.97) Ind_strength = 1;
Example AUDCAD:
Pip Range= 52
Bid Ratio =m 0.72 (72%)
Relative Strength of AUDCAD is 6.3 (AUD = 6, CAD = 3 (9-6))
I hope it would be useful.

Wavegarrick,
The single line is not generating trades as compare to the Cross MA as observed from my demo.
Thanks,

Hi Guys
The pullbacks would be something I need to tinker around with, I would be lying if I say it is going well at the moment..It is all fine when we catch momentum and have a nice run, as we did with 21/60 a few days ago...but currently I am giving back my gains
. Maybe look at increasing the time between trades. but let me expand a bit down below in answer to Haggadah's question
Haggadah, I was running the single line method for a bit just to see how one trade was generated. with this method we would have to look at when a pullback happens, lets say in a downtrend price would cross back up over the 240 Ma on the 5 min t/frame. It could even cross back up over the 240 Ma on the 15 min time frame. Now we have be careful here because we have specified required signals in time frame 1 to 4 or 5 ( currency strength test) and 4 in t/frame 2 ( required signals) at least that is how I have set mine up. So if the ea sees that these conditions have been met it would open a buy trade against the trend which is down. Not what I want. I want it to cross back down below the 240 Ma on the 15 min t/frame and 5 min t/frame for me to get back into the trend. So we would have to look at including all the time frames up to one hour in the required signals ( currency strength test). Signals would also become a lot less but I am sure worth the wait. I could be wrong and if maybe Rene or George could help me out..then again was this system designed to catch quick scalps or longer term signals ? I could be losing the plot and maybe taking it away from its intended purpose.
The same conditions as above would apply for the Ma cross we have only been doing well because we have caught the run,, so the currency strength test on time frame 1 and 2 would have been ample to get back into the trend but what if the 30 and 1 hour 21/60 starts crossing over means are method is going astray
Anyway this Dashboard system and ea is a masterpiece and is only doing what we tell it to do...we just need to crack the code

Letting the EA running unattended in not a good idea. The user guide clearly said and I quote " Also, don't expect that this EA with its OOTB settings is going to make you filthy rich. It is a tool and the user that drives it is ultimately responsible for how it performs. Therefore, you must do your due diligence and run it on demo until you are satisfied that the tool together with your settings is profitable.
Considering that a long trend could be traced its beginning from the shorter one, traders could exploit what the EA could offer. While shorter trend could be one of your bread and butter, looking for a longer term signals in them could be a good idea to start with.
