There is nobody at SHF who has been a member for several years who does not owe umpteen levels of understanding to you. For sure, I do.

I have one question as I use HGI4h and daily CSS.

Below is today's CSS graph and I received sell signal (blue wavy) on EURAUD and I'm not sure if I should sell or not because of direction of CSS lines.

How you bahave in similar situation.

Obviously the best trades are when they both agree. I traded about a month using just big arrow signals that agreed with CSS without using charts and I was profitable. The problem I had going that was getting best exits but despite that it worked. So trading is patience and waiting on the best signals.

Dear Bob,

First of all, I would like to thank you and all contributors for putting all your experience and ideas to SHF and sharing it with the retail forex traders. I am quite new here, in SHF as well as the forex market. After one year of hardwork, I have decided to have my first FX live account, I hope it stays as "first". :D. I have read many posts, user manual and comments about HGI, which I am going to go over again. HGI is one of the best tools, I have ever met in a short time.

For the start, I am only trading big arrows. As you know, when we get a signal of "TREND BUY or TREND SELL", we get a green or red big arrow which is also showing our S/L level which is also being updated during the candle which is not closed yet and moving up or down depending on the math. So, what do you suggest to the traders using HGI, should we place our S/L levels according to the initial level of the arrow when we enter the position or update our S/L level according to the last position of the arrow?

All the best.

If you go to my philosophy of trading section you will see I use multiple entrances when I trade long term so I seldom use Stop losses on trades. You will see the link at the bottom of my post for a full explanation.

The other kind of trading I do short term is session trading where I trade the JPY, Eur, or USA session. I trade for two or three hours and quit. So that is what I do. I'm not a hard stop loss trader

Hi Bob, when You are trading using HGI, are You focus only on the one time frame (H4) or You are also analysing what is happening on all other charts using this indicator and base on that You are deciding to open a trade or not ? Does HGI analysing data from different time frames and then providing results on the H4 ?

I do my CSS reads every day and go with signals that agree with my CSS reads. Sometimes a big news story will change that though. Good Luck.

My CSS with HGI thread explains my trading style.

Hi Bob, I should read more carefully Your posts. :arrrg:
Now Your way of trading is quite clear for me and I will try to follow it next weeks with my 10$ nano account.

Till now I have a traded all possible currencie pairs, everytime when I saw some possibilities to make some money I opened a trade. As I see Your CSS is working only with the common currencies pairs. Is there any reason behind that CSS is not working for example with USD/PLN, EUR/NOK ?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

No reason other than you need several reads of a currency to get a strength read. So you can add and subtract pairs in the program. If you add Norway Currency you need several cross pairs to establish its overall strength.
