When -CloseOnOppositeSignalOrTrendChange and offsetting works, the closing have a short delay...

!!! But this EA is too too good to complain!!!

I stopped testing this. I wasn't getting the success rate of daily basket TPs I wanted to see. The final balance gain was 2% but that seemed like luck, it climbed out of a hole the last 2 days.

My workaround for not having a 'max baskets per day' option was to only let it run for 15 minutes on a M1 chart.

Hiya,

with version 2h I'm seeing the ea closing individual trades at a single pip profit...sometime very soon after opening.

I think its only trades that are opposite in direction to the 'Trend Time Frame'.

pic attached with examples. it is 2h ootb

Is it expected behavior? I guess this is related to the hedging tweak for this version..I'm pretty thick and I cant see how this behaviour fits in with what that update was supposed to do.

Hey Leon,
I am testing your 5min & H1 setfile since about two weeks. The results are quite good. There´s a bit of DD though (around 15%). Anyhow are you still running the demo and furthermore what were your thoughts when you chose 5min as trending timeframe and H1 as trading timeframe?

In yet another act of stunning brilliance, Thomas has sent me a version of 2h that incorporates the hgi_lib.ex4 (post 1 of Bob's HGI thread) into the code. :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: This lowers the bot's cpu footfall hugely and does away with the need to specify the HGI version we are using.

I have a couple of extra features to add now I have been running HGBnD for a few weeks. I want to add closing a profitable full hedge closure when a yellow wave appears and stays, and am going to look afresh at how the bot calculates the need for a full hedge.

Watch this space.

Hi Max,

I was forward testing the setfiles with various combinations ie. Trend timeframe 1hr and trading timeframe 5 minutes and vice versa. I always like to put a bit of a spin on my tests and absurd as it may seem this back to front combination produced much better results than the logical path we would normally follow... :)

I am currently on hold with my tests till next year.
