Yes, if e.g. you read all the posts, then come back to read new ones. That works great.

But jjasper7 was talking about catching up with old threads, and I thought maybe he was reading page 8 of 10, or something like that. If page 8 is already full, and you only read half the posts on page 8, the forum can't tell how far down you scrolled on that page. It'll assume you read everything on page 8, and the next time it'll send you to the top of page 9. That's why I recommended finishing the page you're on before leaving the thread.

No prob Gary...I can see you're all over it unlike me answering posts at 6am in the morning when my brain has not even started to function yet

OK guys! I guess I'm in the right place to ask a dummy question here!!

In 10.2a, Bob refers to daily piv being below weekly and monthly for shorts [opposite for longs, obviously].

Do we take this literally? My thinking would be that they have to be totally in order? IE. monthly on top, then weekly, then daily.

The way Bob has explained it, it could be weekly on top, then monthly below, then daily below that.

Hope I've made sense!!

Thanks,

Rob

For long:
Daily
Weekly
Monthly

For short:
Monthly
Weekly
Daily

Hope that helps :)

In one of his last posts on FF that you can see here
he also mentioned following quote...but with a look at lower TF Trading.
However, 10.2A would be much simpler to use with lower TF. You take the cross of the daily pivot in the direction established by the weekly and monthly pivots. This can be done on any TF using any indicator you like to use. The purpose of 10.0 series was to get the trend bias right and then trade that direction...

...Very simple now 3 pivot lines to check trend, weekly S/R lines for TP, entrance and SL points. Follow the trend on any TF now. The daily, weekly, monthly pivots are drawn on every TF. Have fun.
This means that the alignment of only weekly and monthly is already a directional bias...if the daily aligns also this bias gets stronger...thats my interpretation of it...

I just want to take it one step further and say that if a pairs TMA Slope is trending above/below .4/-.4 and the pivots are in order then this is a great pair to watch/trade in direction of trend. However if you see the pivots going out of order AND TMA Slope goes back into range mode (between .4 and -.4) it's time to stop trading that pair OR (if you have the cojones) counter-trend the sucker in the hope that you've just caught the beginning of a reversal.

Yes that is it. Even posted a scalping example to show how it would work.
