Pink shows sell bias and 10.2a sell trade back into a downtrend. If you have a reversal price will also be above both Weekly and Daily pivot and shows the goldenrod color until the daily gets above the weekly or price moves back down below the weekly pivot again.lonto wrote:Dear Bob,
First off thank you very much for providing us with 10.3 - best new year's gift ever. Been following your systems back on the Forexfactory days and must admit 10.3 is the simplest and clearest yet!
I have been studying the booklet in some detail before I start experimenting with the system and have a quick question on the 10.3 JAN 2013 BOOKLET A
Page 10...
"HOT PINK means daily pivot (DP) is below weekly pivot (WP) but price (P) is between the DP and WP.
• This indicates a 10.2a sell setup in which you want to enter when price crosses back into the downtrend by crossing the weekly pivot. When price crosses the daily pivot the bar will turn maroon and indicate a downtrend is now in effect."
Should this not read "...when price crosses back into the downtrend by crossing the daily pivot" instead? My understanding is at this point Price is between DP and WP and since WP is above DP, the price crossing the WP (upwards) is more likely to indicate a trend reversal?
Similarly for the "LIME GREEN" definitions?
Best regards,
George
Lime Green shows buy bias. Price has moved below the daily pivot but is above the weekly. This can signify a rest in the trend, ranging period, 10.2a buy setup or a reversal is coming. When price goes below the weekly and daily pivots it will show the goldenrod color until the daily pivot goes below the weekly pivot or it rises back above the weekly pivot again.
This sequence did not show up on the 10.3 Simple series. It is why I went to two bars instead of one to also show possible 10.2a trade setups.
