Well the NZDUSD trade finally came into some sort of decent profit after waiting since wednesday. Just goes to show you need a huge amount of patience when trading 4hr TF. I like the 4hr TF it seems to be the right balance between managing trades and having a life!

Good weekend to all and looking forward to what next week has to offer with this strategy.

This is my first post here as I have been silently reading all your value posts. My first words goes to Bob, it's because people like him that we can still have some hope on mankind :) Thanks a lot for sharing your ideas, I will donate to your choosen cause a fixed part of everything I win.

My first week trading this (demo) and 6 wins in 6 trades, the only difference is that I took profit on the first level reached and didn't ride the long trend, I see now that it was a clever thing to do in this ranging market week.

I still have an open order at the AUDUSD waiting for it to reach the midpoint between pivot and Sup1, let's hope it does, if not I'll just close with whatever I have at the moment.

The week is actually at +295 pips...

I am at 499.7 pips profit for the week. I am keeping one trade open to see if it goes to 1 pip profit so I can close over 500 pips for the week. That included taking 7 SL hits this week which is a high for me. However, even though I took that many max SL hits each one was 1-2% of my account I still was up almost 500 pips and 5% profit on my account. I always wondered what would happen if price spiked and I get a bunch of SL hits. Well, I found out, I still can come out on top. I was saved by the multiple level profits. :D YEAH ;) For most traders only doing 1 level trades it would have been a disastrous week. For multiple levels I WIN.

Well, for those of you still trading go to your 5M chart and catch the retraces on the spike as the news traders close out their positions for the night at the end of the Euro session. Normally I play those but I am tired and going to bed. You may wonder how heavily I traded since I like to take as many signals as possible. Here are my stats and they are pretty wild.

total trades 79
winners 55 total pips +2035

losers 23 total pips -1536

total pips gained +499

I suffered over 1500 pips in losses and still had a profitable week. Dang

Is there way you can post a list with entry times and prices for the pairs (plus exits)?

You really want to find out how bad of a trader I am well here is a PDF file of the trades. You will have to print out and set the pages side by side to get the whole picture.

BTW you should check out the scribblar site next time the market is active. Pretty sleepy right now as things are winding down from NFP. But earlier a lot of people liked the site.

I am at negative 200 plus pips. I was hoping CadJpy will have a rejection of the 240ma. The more i waited the more it goes the other side....... until 300 over pips in the red :cry: . Fortunately it is only 0.01 lot and i have some positive pips from NU to partially cushion my loss. I'll try to find a cheaper exit next week. :cry: :cry: :cry:

One or 2 of us were disciplined enough to cut loss, unfortunately i wasn't :oops:

By the way, the scanning dashboard written by TigerCandle is very useful. It shows u in ten seconds where are potential setups so that u can go straight to the chart instead of going through 20 charts.

Which dashboard is CandleTiger's? link? Saw his pivot mods, but not DB.
