Jeremy has stated some of the problems that will cause your Empty4 platforms to lock up during news releases. I would also suggest to you that you close the market watch window so your platform is not receiving all of the price ticks for every pair that is traded and to remove any price indicators from your charts that show live price on the screen.

You have to remember that I trade naked and don't use the indicators, systems and templates that a lot of you are still using. Therefore, I don't have the causes of these lockups in use on my charts.

I can offer one more suggestion to those who have freeze issues with their platforms. If when you first start your terminal, it freezes while loading your charts, then you will have problems with fast moving markets.

I have stated in the past that I will use multiple brokers with many charts open at the same time. One reason I do this is to look for patterns and trades on one platform, while only opening the charts for the pair or pairs that I'm trading on my main platform.

Try next week and see how fast your terminal opens up when you have a few naked charts as opposed to many with who knows what price tick dependent indicator or ea on them.

It has been brought to my attention that my postings are causing harm to many of the students that follow the thread, namely the EURUSD chart that was posted awhile back.

I have neither the time nor patience to deal with this nonsense going forward. Therefore, my participation here will be curtailed and extremely limited going forth.

Continue to share between each other, but expect little response from me going forward.

My thanks to those who brought this to light.

To the people who think CJ's post harmed(caused you to lose money)them you should be ashamed of yourselves.CJ has been incredibly generous in teaching his method for over 3years and now a some of you have completely alienated him from his own thread.FFS stop being sofa king childish and apologize.Take responsibility for your trading it's never his fault only yours.Captain Jack i hope you will reconsider your decision.
