I do not know which version of Crossfader ea you are using, but the one I posted above is certainly worth a look.

I do not know if it is any good, but the use of MTF indi and Pipstep idea certainly fascinates me. Thanks to Steve and KH for sharing their ea's so freely. Their code snippets certainly give a non coder like me many hours of fun.

This ea is not trading at all, but another adaptation, using D1 and H4 MACD cross as trigger for buy/sell is, and right now it is 1.8% in profit with 1.2% DD.

The same indicators, library files are required.
The pipstep thing is certainly fascinating. Trading 2% equity balance, the profit is now 3% with floating DD of 1%.

All my other ea's are doing very little today.
The results so far. 3.5% profit, just over 1% DD.

I know Crossfader ea uses a high risk strategy that can break your bank, but if you can get the daily macd trend correct, it can run for days, and hopefully the winners can overcome the losers.

London close. 4.6% profit, 0.3% floating DD. Trading all available pairs on FXDD except EURCHF, 2% risk, 10k demo.

Quite an amazing result after only one trading session. It is the pipstep thing that did it !

i use for long term tests still the Version CF6f.
I intend to try the new Version EA o a new account.

I have to put the supply demand ea on ice as it still fails to set sl and tp. For a coder, this should not be too difficult to fix. Presently, I am using Steve's MPTM with 0.8 ATR for SL and TP.

I am trading H1 time frame, using H4 stochs for pullbacks, but have turned off the 240MA filter for the time being.

Meanwhile, I am keeping an eye on the new crossfader ea adaptation.

Here is an H4 chart for EURUSD in a downtrend. The D1 MACD is red, H4 MACD is green, showing retracement.

When price hits resistance zone, it will reverse, and when a H4 candle CLOSED and H4 MACD turned red, then sell.

This trade would be taken automatically by the ea.

We will see tomorrow if this happens. The only thing that will prevent this from happening is a fundamental news causing the euro to spike up.

Right now, the USD is strong from good economic news coming out from the US, so EU,GU and AU all falling.

The EURO has retraced during the night, met support turned resistence and looks like reversing. The H4 MACD is still green, but for some reason, the ea has opened a sell. Another interesting point is that the euro appears to be bouncing off the weekly pivot (confluence).

Euro news coming out at 10 am uk time which may affect the euro's fall, as German ZEW economic sentiment is forecast to be better than expected which could make the euro rise.

Even as I am typing, the euro has already started to fall, and H4 MACD is turning red.

I may close my trade before 10 am, take half profit or move sl to be.

GU also retraced in the , then bouncing off WMS1, the H4 MACD has turned red, and it is falling as well.
