From my limited understanding I believe CSS takes into account all the currency pairs and then makes a calculation based on whichever ones you have enabled. I've disabled some pairs so maybe it's made a difference? Or perhaps you've disabled some and it's made a difference? I'm actually not so sure :?

does the Boss see anything setting up?

i'm hard pressed to take anything now without moving at least one line up from where it is.
be it closer to WP. or if opened at WP...closer to R1/S1 (depending on the pair).

i just don't like today. now.

Hello,
I like to try this way of trading. Ive downloaded the zip fil and put everything in place.
When using the platform, all seems working, but... I get some error alerts.
Checking upon this I see in the logs a constant changing and trying to load files like THV4 CoralT@H.ex4 and THV4 Trix called.ex4 ( see here the picture; http://screencast.com/t/3CNXt9PJ ).

The Empty4 tries to open these also in charts (other tf's) where I didn't instal the 10X files (totally different templates)

What am I doing wrong?

I'm watching xxxJPY and xxxCHF pairs taking it easy on the trading too.

Everything is flat for xxxJPY RSI-TMA, USDCHF is getting closer to WP, but i think it will soon enough..

I have found that on days like this (what? It's a Monday?? ;) ) that it is better to turn off the computer, and watch a DVD.

... or do some reading in threads that you have been neglecting.

The market at the moment is directionless, and it won't develop momentum without some major economic news release somewhere.

These sorts of days always cost me pips, because I fool around looking for trades when there simply is not the potential anywhere to lock in pips.

"Don't trade when there is nothing to trade" ... someone told me that once.

EDIT: take a look at the news releases pending for Tuesday - there will be heaps of stuff all day tomorrow.

There are talking heads (two of them European) trying to weaken their own currencies, plus economic leakages from the G8 meetings, minutes of meetings, production news - plenty to stir activity ... not now ... TOMORROW!

This is where the CSS indicator can make a big difference to
our trading mentality of the moment.

If you look at the range on the 4H CSS it is clear there is NO
big differential from the plus side to the minus side.

Further evidence of a stagnant market, is the FLAT currency
index lines - they have taken sides ... like a football team:

* 3 up
* 5 down
* all flat

No one wants to carry the ball, so the "teams" are standing flat-footed.

That's what we should do ... relax and stand still.

And ... wait.
