Hi Tarinni, what will be the effect of setting stack pips to 100 instead of 20 ? What do think is the optimal ?
I guess it will has lower DD but slower profit.
Have you tried other triangle, eg. EUR/JPY/USD?

actually i did not try more than 20 pips , i believe that it's ok if you want to build long term positions

.but what if after 100 pips and having stacked a position market reverses?

you have to be prepared to long period of drawdown...

it works with every ring...better if you run two opposite one

eurusd buy usdchf buy eurchf sell
eurusd sell usdchf sell eurchf buy

actually i am also trying to stack position on one cross only

open eurusd buy
open eurusd sell
stacking every 20 pips positive on one side or the other until reach profit ...

let's see how it goes

Hi Tarrini,
Do you notice that sometimes the basket was closed at a loss ? Particularly the AUD/JPY/USD, to a less extend EUR/JPY/USD.
I have tried to work out the ratio of closing prices among the 3 pairs, it does not explain the amount of loss.
Just wonder whether you have the same experience.

actually i use another ea to do the job , but it close the ring based on € profit.

that can happen to you because pip value ( in eur ) for jpy pairs is higher than the other ,

other reason i don't know, maybe steve can tell you better

Do you use the MPTM ? If yes, would you mind share the settings?

Up about 17.4% on day 8.
10% per trade. 20pip distance. TP 12 pips. leverage 100/1. FinFX.
DD often about ten percent.
Sleep function may not be working, perhaps due to the multi-pair robot feature.
If one can ignore the DD, it looks good to me.

I am testing the eur/chf/usd ring, when the eur spiked in the Asian session, the basket was closed at a loss. Some of the trades has the following entries in the comment column.

Any Empty4 gurus could tell me what is this ?

so: 93.5%/11022.1/11787.1

I think that is a margin call. When it is below 100%, the biggest loser will be closed.
