My latest fly in the ointment happens when I put HGB on the chart. When the next M15 candle appears, it immediately takes the trend trade for each pair, even though the large green arrow is many candles past. I want it to take the trade when the LGA appears. Is there some other setting I'm missing?
Thought I'd post the resolution here, in case anyone else has the same symptom. I had the wrong name of the indy. The name of the indicator is HGI_v15.01, but In the settings I somehow had HGI_v.15.01.

Of course it didn't work correctly.

Been through this thread several times now to try to figure out why HGB isn't exiting my manually placed trades as I thought I had configured it to do. All setting are OOTB except: TradingTimeFrame set to the appropriate chart, StopTrading is True, HGI_Name is HGI_V15.01 which is what I've got on and UseForTradeMgtOnly is True. What have I missed?? Thanks Much.

Did you set up the magic number and trade comments in HGB to match those of your manual trades?
If not then HGB won't recognize your manual trades as belonging to it.

Thanks for responding- think I got it working- my own stupid fault!! It hasn't closed any manual trades yet, so let me check that when I place a manual trade on my US brokers trading station, it never asks for any magic number or comment, so I assume there is none? Do I delete the comments included OOTB in the input for the trade types I'm using so HGB isn't looking for those even though I've disabled putting on trades with the UseForTradeMgtOnly setting?

And, how could HGB have put on the following trade when the inputs are set to 'false' for Range and Rad trading- there's no buffer 8 (pink) wavy line or trend arrow, just the range arrow? - sorry about the text, can't seem to make it go away

I must have missed something, somewhere. I got the difference between the wave signals going to Buffer 7 and Buffer 8, the former entering weakness and the latter exiting weakness- and changed my colors (yellow = 7 and pink = 8). It appears, however, that my HGB wave trade is executing a trade on the former, entering weakness, signal- see the chart. Is there some input I neglected to properly set or change I need to make to get trade entries on the exiting weakness signal and trade closures on the entering weakness signal?

Nope, HGB treats any wave as a wave.

anyone able to get the HB manager ea to function as it is supposed to? Doesn't seem to work for me (not acting on profit target and closing trades etc)
