I started SHF nearly 3.5 years ago assuming that it would attract about 5 members and die out inside of a few weeks. I never dreamed for a second that it would become the place it is.

A lot of the credit goes to the mods, who jump all over misbehaviour with the ruthlessness of a hungry predator espying an easy lunch. Tommaso is especially lethal - he seems to have an instinct for trolls etc and I am convinced he is deleting their registrations even as they type their first (and last) post.

The regime here allows the free-thinkers to do their thing and to post about their work without being attacked, as happens so often elsewhere. We are all benefiting from the results of their offerings.

So we go from strength to strength. More power to us.

Wouldn't that be possible with a stochy filter? If we could define that HGB is only allowed to trade when a pair is within an oversold/-bought stochastic region, i.e.? Assume a pair is oversold (stochastic <20), HGB now only trades buy signals and opens trades accordingly. If the pair is overbought (stochastic >80), HGB only trades sell signals. In between it remains silent. Things to define are the appropriate stochastic settings like timeframe (daily, weekly, ...?) and stuff like that.

I just added a stoch to a chart and scrolled back - it appears to have been able to filter out a lot of the bad RAD trades. Bear in mind that I only took about a minute over this. Also bear in mind the severe limitations of looking back in time in Empty4.

Those of you with some understanding of what is happening here, apply Stoch/Rsi to a few charts and see if you can draw any conclusions.

I trade in almost a similar way. I let HGB place only main trades on H1 on the direction of Daily time frame. I confirm and manage my trades with the help of CSS (Daily). Still trying to find the best way to trade this on a small real account with some $ I can afford to lose!
