I had the exact same problem. Even deleted all, re-downloaded and tried again on a different platform; no luck. I am aware that others are having problems with the latest Empty4 update to v1065; so I found an older platform that had been sitting on my desktop that was still v1045. You have to set it to "skipupdate" so it stays on v1045. I did that and the bot loaded right up.
In the attached icon properties, change the target to- terminal.exe " /skipupdate (don't omit the space between the " and /.... Now it will work :-)
Well shoot: it's been a while since I've posted here and I can't remember how to attach an image- sorry.

While on vacation last week, I left my notebook running my Empty4 tests with instructions to Windows 10 not to apply updates or restart my notebook, which of course it did. So I don't have valid results, but I found during April, the GBPUSD 30 Minute and 4-Hour timeframes made modest money for the month, the 15-minute and 1-hour lost money.

For the remainder of May, I will be testing a strategy very close to what I hope to trade live.
Four pairs: GBPUSD, EURJPY, AUDCHF, then adding GBPJPY.

15 Minute, 1-Hour, and 4-Hour timeframes.
Filter will be Super Slope two timeframes higher than trading timeframe, 21 periods,100 ATR with a 0.4 threshold.
Example: 4-hour TF, SS filter will be Weekly 21/100 with 0.4 for the threshold.
SS must be > 0.4 for Buy, less than -0.4 for a sell.

No hedging, no grid, no sixths, no close on opposite signal.

One set of tests of the above will have TP and SL of approx. 1.0x the ATR of the SS Filter TF.
Second set of tests will have TP and SL of approx 2.0x the ATR of the SS Filter TF.

I'll let the trades run until they either hit their TP or SL.

I'll report back on how this goes.

The live manual version I will be trading during May is the 4-hour TF just like above, but I'll be trying to close whenever I get two opposite FB signals in a row. I'll report back if this holds any promise.

I just noticed that the Diad module had sent a second UJ buy but only moved the sl of the first to breakeven. This was caused by a really basic bloop in the code - fixed in the updated library in the usual place. This could apply to the manual helpers as well, so I will check those this evening.

Easiest DIY fix in the world. Line 7742:
for (int cc = OpenTrades - 1; cc >= 0; cc--)

should be
for (int cc = OrdersTotal() - 1; cc >= 0; cc--)

TraderJoeForex, what great results! I have all losers for the week, except for a separate EA being run by my cat Popoki :smile: . Everyone says he's smarter than me, so I guess it's true.

I'm running 15 Min. 1 Hour and 4 Hour tests on four different pairs, SS filter two TF's above the trading TF, set to 21 periods, 100 ATR. Once a trade is entered, it runs until a TP or SL is hit (these are based roughly on the ATR values of the pairs).

Poor results, but I will trudge forward. Cat Popoki ran his EA on another computer as well, and it made money there for the week. I will expand Popoki's tests next week so he can compete side by side with me on the same pairs and TF's. He is using an old EA shell from Steve from last year that uses the FB signal with some other filters. If he continues to make money, I'll report back to Steve. :mrgreen:
