Here is one for you pivot fans. This plots the pivot on your chosen TimeFrame, then a box around the pivot MinimumAllowedDistanceToPivotPips above and below. If enabled PivotBoxGovernsTrading will send TDesk a FLAT when the market is within the box. If not enabled the indi will send either a LONG or SHORT signal depending on your choice of TradingDirections.   |

Little note to you Leon re the new setup. I understand what you are doing perfectly with the idea on how to get the live account in sync with the market. It fits my experience to date well in terms of the differences of +pips one week and -pips another week and with some starts going into a level of DD that would not meet my requirements for a hands off EA. We have to deal with this challenge. Doing this will help us to learn about the setup and lead to clever solutions later on for full auto trading I predict. A wee while back I did a major study of our various TD RSI and STO indicators comparing them in trading and to what I like as a trigger from your manual template and strategy. The end of that exercise was I found the first TD STO (STO7 D1 MA TREND 10 SMA LWMA TD) was a favorite. Then after looking at your post on the RSI Cross indicators I experimented and came to a point where I found setting TD RSI CROSS V2 with set fast =26 and slow=2 signals very close to that first STO indicator. So that is what I am using one time frame above target trading time frame. I can not better this at this stage for a Support/Resistance type trade trigger. So now I don't bother with having the old STO version in the mix. The other little note I wanted to pass on to you is the stacking of the HGI indicators. In my trials I have been trying various setups with single time frame HGI and some with two time frame HGI. I think based on my results both of these have been more susceptible to pullback and reversal problems than your approach with the three time frames of HGI signals. The approach of getting in sync with the market and being guided by a 3 TF HGI and the RSI trigger seems great. Unfortunately I am moving into a pretty heavy work period so testing will be a bit sporadic but hopefully I can come back with some results re hedge and peaky - we'll see. Hi Vince, Just had a look at your settings and wish to confirm. Setting the Rsi fast period to 26 and the slow period to 2? Visually this looks great and looks good with RSi on the daily and 4hr timeframe and seems to capture turnpoints nicely with Hgi on 3 timeframes (1hr, 30min and 15min). As a support/res type indicator this might just be the answer  I will definitely follow through on this. Thanks Vince. You too. Have a nice Xmas and don't work too hard. Cheers Leon |
