Garyfritz,

Awesome explanation!!! It's cleared up a number of things for me and has made my understanding of indicators and the 10.2 system a little clearer.

I agree with mob - your post should be a link is the 10.2 threads.

Hi,

I have noticed that on a number of Graphics that the slope values of different tf's are shown.
For example DI and H4 on the H4 graphic together with the summation.
Is it possible to do the same thing for the H1 and 15M tf's, on the 10.2TmaSlopeTrue NT v.1.4B30 graphic, it would be helpful and save me switching back and forth to keep abreast of the current slopes, and if so how can I do it?
Hopefully one day Steve may find in his heart to amend the Stretchy EA to operate on these tf's

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks for the information. In your graphics you show one pic with the various tf lines and values and the other pic of the histogram also with the values.
It is just this last one I want, the histogram with my selected tf's values. Is that possible with this indi.

Why would I put multiple Images in the announcement of the indicator and make an effort to put a description below the pictures that says that this is a example or usecase for this indicator...why should I do this if this indicator could not do it...is there any logic behind your question.

Do you bothered to read the description? Why do you think I make an effort to describe the Parameters?

If you are to lazy to read the little description then you really should search for another endeavor to earn money...and also should not use my indicators....

Sorry if this comes a bit harsh...but a little effort is not to much to ask. I put much more effort to develop this indicators.

And yes it can do it look for the parameter showHisto (it is completely unreasonably named that no one can find it.)

I am sorry that my simple question caused you so much irritation. I had read the attached description but must admit that on first reading some things did not register in my old brain, after all Steve was'nt even born when I was a young man at work.
I have read through the description several times now and played around with the settings, so think I am now getting the hang of your indi.

As to the above quote, I have no need to earn money as I made more than I shall ever need trading the Stock Market by the time I was 45.
Why do I trade Forex? Because it's challenging, exiting and I learn so much from all the ideas that are mooted on this site, and most important because it stimulates my old Brain.

ok...I apologize for my behavior...if you had given me this information before I would have reacted differently. I can not see in you face or can not know about your age on this communication medium. And please understand that there are many people out there who are too lazy and want everything served on a silver platter. Excuse me that I put you in this category.

No need for apologies but it is nice to be treated more gently.

I am sorry to say that I have a question.

I have attached a pic of both the TmaTrue NT and the MTF version. As you can see they look totally different. The MTF much more spikey and it doesent matter what I try with changing the colours, it stays exactly as shown. Surely this not how it is meant to show?

Any helpful advice you can give will be gratefully recieved.

I will answer it here for this time...but please use my thread next time (where you downloaded the indicator from) if you have any further questions about my indicator.
This is not the right place to talk about it.

You are working on a M15 chart so the TMA Slope NT shows you the TMA for M15.
The MTF shows you the Histogram for H1(green), M15(red), and M1(orange) as you configured it...if you compare the M15 Histo(red) to the TMA Slope NT you see that they are the same...the M1 is not a good timeframe to use with TMA as you already recognized it is spikey especially when you look at it on a higher TF. Delete the M1 on the MTF and try maybe the M5...or use another combination (eg. M15,M30,H1 or H1,H4,D1)

I could give you better advise when you would tell me what you want to accomplish

Could you show us how?? :D I've been beating my head against the stock market for 30 years now, and I still lose my shirt every time I venture in. I had a *negative* return during the 1984-2000 mega-bull. I've read many investing books, I've subscribed to many investing letters, but I just seem to have zero ability with stocks...
