Hi Gary, yeah I was thinking I should do that since you guys can try to optimize the EA. I need some time to go back over all my work, make sure my rules are clear, then I'll post some ideas. I look forward to it.

Let's take this discussion to a different thread, but: optimization is NOT likely to improve your EA. If it worked in the past and then it fell apart, that indicates the EA logic is unstable. Optimizing it will just produce another unstable setup that will fall apart again. Your trading logic may be doing something that is inherently unstable. For example MA-cross systems tune to the "frequency" of the market. You can optimize them to the recent market behavior, but as soon as the "frequency" changes (which it does constantly), the EA dies. The answer is not optimizing, but choosing more stable logic.

I know I have mentioned about contributing but as I am no programmer, and I also know that steve mentioned that all Empty4 users shud also learn to program it, so here I am, will learn to program when my ole brain allows me to.
