I *think* it's doing what it's supposed to do. It's waiting for DP crosses. None have happened yet so it's waiting.

Hey Gary & Spyderman

I had the EA miss the cross of the DP this morning (about 6 pairs or so). I modded the EA to include the following at the beginning of the Start() routine:

Print("Start Routine Running");
Normally, you should see this printed line display itself in the Experts log over and over again. Its absence indicated that Start() appeared not to be executing repeatedly. I tried disabling the "Endless Loop" feature, and my EA began to operate correctly. This is just what worked for me.

That's what it's supposed to do. By default it enters start() and never leaves. There is an "endless loop" inside start(), and that loop continuously cycles through the logic. If you set EndlessLoop=false, then it works more normally -- it enters start(), runs through the logic, exits start(), and then Empty4 calls start() again on the next tick.

But wouldn't the pairs that meet the criteria at least show up in the trading window as "setups"?

Yes, they should. They do for me:

I haven't dug deeply into the code, but my understanding of those messages is:

Slope = Buy/Sell -- the TMA slope meets the levels specified in SlopeBuyLevel / SlopeSellLevel.
Pivot Alignment = Buy/Sell -- the Slope says it's trending, and this says it's pulled back past the pivot.
Daily pivot cross = whatever -- this is the final trigger, waiting to cross back over the daily pivot. "Untradable" means "it hasn't crossed over the pivot yet."

So Here's mine on two different crims.
Upfx is showing (I have slope dialed down to .20/-.20 just to show up)
ILQ is not showing anything (same settings)

So that makes me wonder if the EA is somehow not reading the indicators on this crim, even though they're built into the EA.

Do you have full history, in both MT4s, for ALL symbols, on D1, H4, and maybe H1? That's the most common reason for differences between crims.

I ran Neotrader's (think it was his) ForceLoaddatathistory script on both crims so should be okay.

Don't count on it. When I ran it, I only got 12 (!!) bars of H4 history on all pairs. I don't know why but it didn't load much H4 history at all. Either look in your History Center, or open up charts for all pairs/tfs, and verify it.

I haven't tried it, but somebody recently posted a LoadHistory.mq4 script that looks promising. If I'm reading the code right, it cycles through all pairs/tfs and "presses HOME" programmatically. I can't find where it was posted but here's a copy. Let us know if it works. :D
