Balls to the Wall, a 1 minute 1 trade EA

Hi all
Using v1d ootb (unfortunately I have updated in the meantime) I got two trades (1937068 and 1952059) with a comment, I do not know, where they come from. The trades were not stopped out by the ea's exit rules (compare with 1942392). The account has only this chart open. Any ideas?

Those are margin calls Mike. The account is not using enough leverage to keep those trades at the time. Did you have other trades open when those trades opened? The same thing happened to me last week. I was on Cowboy IBFX with 50:1 so my trades closed right away too.You need a criminal with higher leverage or dial back your risk percentage on the EA.

Great to have all the answers, when you wake up, this forum is just great, thanks. There are and were no other trades open. And I do not understand, why the other trades you see on the Account History went 3x into more negative and 8x into more positive results without margin call. Sure I will dial back my risk percentage.

I've been having a heck of a time getting this puppy to trade. This morning I adjusted my settings a bit to make sure I got a trade, so I could monitor it.

Got one about a minute later and the stop problem is evident. It went back to the most recent fractal that was lower than the entry price, which had occured almost an hour earlier. Apparantly the EA took the trade before the fractal we should be using had popped up. It seems to me that the ea jumps on the trade at the previous candle close (i think I read that somewhere) before the Fractal pops up.

Steve, is a slight order delay a possible solution?

On another note, the trade closed while I was posting this. It looks like the only reason for this close was the LTF slope had dropped below 7. So that looks like it is working just fine!

i cant see whats wrong with your settings, except that you need the suffix of 'm' i think iti s.
you mentioned that you are getting a posi6tion but i also cant understand why its closing so soon.

i need some help here with the settings ive used.
i got BE in place at 10/5 and thats fine. i get the sl changed by the ea and then when it's time for the JS of 25 to kick in, i get this error, attached pic.
sorry, cant figure it out, any ideas from anyone please.
ps: i know my criminal has the rule of setting SL's and tP's of being a minimum of twice the spread. I'm above that so that cant be the prob.

V 1h is in post 1. I have added a 5 second delay at the start of a new candle (EveryTickMode = false) to give the new fractal time to appear. See if this helps.

Interesting set-up for trading. I think it will be more worthwhile for the EA to trade 1m on each previous hour staring from London open. We get 1 trade in each hour and then go to sleep. This way we can take advantage of teh hourly trend. It will either increase you gain or bust it all together, lol.

Why limit the puppy for single trade?? Let it be a sledge dog instead, pull the pips in.

Hi Guys,
i am still using the g version of the EA and so far its working for me.
But what i am trying with this system is this, i have opened 8 pairs (see below), they are all set for london open.
Friday i closed 2 trades manually for a resonable profit. Then i had an idea over the weekend of doing some basket trading with the pairs that had entered a trade. the sl and the tl are left as is.
From a $10.000 demo account the ones i closed made $724.00. on Monday i setup a basket limit of $400.00 this was hit arround 18:36 gmt+2. i raised the basket to $750 the next day and it made more than that.
Today i made the basket target a 7% profit it has reached that, but there was a sudden spike on the eurusd which took out that trade. It still reached the 7% profit after that's because a few more pair opened a trade. anyway what i am trying to say the EA with the basket trading so far has been good. also checkout the detailed report on the trades below.
There are 2 trades today that opened after i adjusted the EA left it for a little while and closed one in profit and the other at a small loss.
This is not really what paulus had in mind but it seems to work so far. will keep you updated to see what will happen. Fingers crossed

can i have your set file now just kidding.

I agree with your set up to keep the 8 opening.
if you check my second Balls setup on fxbook, you'll see the one opening at 13 and 20 hours is seeing it's a...
The original is still in a healthy profit with 3 pairs all opening at 8.

I'm leaving them on their own, and many times i would have closed a trade in big profit, but instead it's closing out at my BE. I find the movement just gets short of the first JS, but doesn't quite make it.

For testing though, i'm not touching the ea, trying to stick to Paulus' method as much a spossible. i'm cheating already with BE and JS. Anyways, i tend to break them more than i help them,

Well done on your setup, i think your approach is very interesting and commendable.
