Hoh. Calm down man. This is the very first offensive post i read on this forum. This is not the way we talk here! Take a cup of coffee. Think about your strategy and if it really fits CTS. Make a list of your thoughts and let CNC check them.

Come now, my good friend, lets stay "cool and calm". I want you to learn the system (or I won't have posted it in an open forum), so I will help you wherever I can. I also see it as a good opportunity to help any other interested newbie to iron out the kinks.

So, I'll meet you halfway ...but only IF you promise to stay cool and calm, ok?

That said, see my in-line question and comment below
disbellj wrote:CC,

I have read it, and I know what the thing said in my EA. I was EMERGING downtrend, NOT UT (OH DO YOU MEAN THAT YOUR CODE GAVE YOU THE WRONG SIGNAL I.E. DT INSTEAD OF UT? IF SO, THEN THE CODE IS OBVIOUSLY WRONG ...BUT WHAT THEN WOULD YOU NEED ME TO DO FOR YOU HERE?). I will leave you alone since it's clear you didn't read what I wrote. If TmaSlope is pointing down, which it was at time I took sell at top, (OK, YOU SOLD BECAUSE THE CODE HAD SAID DT, CORRECT? SORRY, BAD CODE) and momo was weakening per your instructions (FOR A SELL ENTRY IN A DT, CORRECT?)and the bounce was near a top Tma line, yes HPTP sell trade was in deed what the rules said for me to do, and I did (OK, I GET IT! THE CODE WAS WRONG!!)Then it turned around and resumed UT right after that - one same bar. Now, I'll go look at my code. Thanks for telling me I don't know what I'm talking about when I have read the whole PDF (WELL, THE CODE OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT CTS WAS TALKING ABOUT AND WAS DOING THE EXACT OPPOSITE AND TELLING ME ABOUT IT ) , and implemented most of it, which I think is something even if you don't. Thanks for taking everything I've said the wrong way (NOW THAT I GET IT, ARE WE COOL FRIENDS AGAIN? 8-) )

I know what the signal was. It was wrong (SIGH, YES!!!). Obviously if I have set for 10 pips from Tma Band, and it only gets 20 pips away and gives me an HPTP signal, then that's wrong. However, TmaSlope was sloping downward and below 0.8 (definition of TmaSlope Entry, although by end of bar, TmaSlope was sloping up).

Kind regards,

Don

It took me about five times to read the PDF to understand the strategy... We sure can help each other so that your EA will take the trades the right way. I know its no easy thing to do an EA in Empty4. I wish you luck...

see you

New version MultiBob v1.2.12 in post 1 of this thread.
Changes:
  • Started development of NB10.2a CTS.
  • Kicked minor version number
Notes
  • CTS timeframe is H1 only.
  • MultiBob only calculates (and displays if configured) the CTS indicators: bias, momentum, hptp and wriggle space.
In other words CTS is for testing purposes only, it will NOT trade.

You could use attached MultiBob set file to display all CTS indicator values.

May the pips be with you,

Paul

Don't know how many times I've said it's not my strategy. I'm implementing CCs strategy in my EA. I've already fixed the code that gave me wrong signal on HPTP. I'll go back to lurking. And as far as valuable time, I've spent almost 24 hours straight coding this EA, so I think my time is pretty valuable too J.

*Scratches eyes* Is it me or did a heavyweight just enter the lounge? :D
Welcome Paul! Thanks for coming onboard.
The more CTS-like babies pipping away, the merrier. Now all I see are greens :ugeek: :D

Hi Don,

I'm not sure how finding out that there was an error in the code you had developed would lead to you deleting all of your posts including the sole early version of the ea you had shared (just the one that sounded offensive would have been okay), but remember that you received freely and so should help those coming behind you to freely receive also.

It doesn't have to be a zero sum game.

Cheers,
CC

What about AUDNZD right now. Looks like a good one to go short, doesn't it? What do you guys think?
