G`day Lads, fantastic effort from all involved so far, well done.

I have been running 2.01b on demo since mid April and it seems to suffer most of it DD from "at market" trades and Pending orders with wide TP`s
There may be a benefit in disabling the EA`s ability to buy and sell at market and just have it set up pendings only with the option to customize TP levels.
Perhaps an option to Single, Double, or triple Hit on any given pair.

Lets say H4 is pinned on EURUSD and there is 160pips between WP and WS1, TP level is set to 20pips
that would be 8 Levels(optional) of pendings with the option of single double or triple hitting giving you between
20 and 480 pips depending on how aggressive a trader you are.(Gertje Option perhaps) ;)

If a trade goes +50%, SL is moved to +5%, if SL is hit your out with Minimal DD, remaining Pending/s stay on the board, if theres "meat in the move" they will capture it.

I`m just thinking out loud , I know you guys have spent an immense amount of time and effort on this EA just thought I`d put forward a few more options that may be beneficial to consider.

I got this comment in "Journal" : 2013.06.03 10:58:25 '545297': Signal - failed parse signals

The EA ( 2.01b ) last week works fine with ActivTrades, can anybody tell me what is wrong?
There are actually no orders.

With InstaFX there are no problem with the same setting.

Just wondering aloud. Given the fact of many changes in NB theory and practice over the weeks, and that you now have a 'final' version(s), could you think of writing a pdf user guide for your nice looking EA with background trading material, and the OOTB choices made plus other suggestions/guidelines?

Such a pdf should mightily hep a lot of us here who are somewhat lost in aggregating all the stuff we read about :) Your current manual of course is still useful as screen setup !

If you look at Andy's code he's added comments about what each function does..

Open the Navigator windows, right click on the EA and double click on Modify.

Hope that helps and look forward to the manual in both PDF & word format please :lol:

Thanks for clarifying the issue.

Of course I realize volunteers like Andy are a lot busy. Perhaps someone else can take a bite if (s)he has enough time, as has been happening all the time.

Myself, I am not a coder- so even though I can understand comments and try figuring out the overall direction, the point I attempted to make was that NB has had many serious changes in the past month, e.g., a wholesale move from Stoch-AO to the more CPU intensive CSS (a Baluda TMA slope creation that operates much like FF hanover's very popular Recent currency Strength or RS, and logically a bit slower but with less whiplash.)

IMHO, CSS/ RS is basically the endgame, and it has been interesting to see Bob look at it and adopt it over time, moving out of his other indys. Even though zznbrm wrote the first TMA Slope indy on FF some moons ago, he later discarded his own effort as not particularly useful over, say hanover's or traditional MAs. But Bob, in his 5.19.13 doc, points out that he finds CSS much more useful than what its creator thought !

People don't even talk about AO anymore on the NB forum. Because Andy has done such a great job, many people use his EA and then inevitably the question of some doc update comes up. If Andy's EA(s) were not useful , no one would bother asking !

It is the conundrum of having done a good job- people want more. Just look at the versions of "Final" EA starting up :)

Hi,

We have finally fixed the performance bug in the mt4gui dll file.

When you run Empty4 you will be asked to update, in properties of the EA, switch useDLL to true and all the buttons and controls will work.

I have a couple of minor bugs to fix in the next update, nothing to do with the trading strategy, only message stuff, not important.

When you run the latest EA in Empty4, you will get a dialog box saying you need to update.
