Art - close Empty4, delete the MQ4 version from the indi folder, copy over the ex4 with the one listed above, restart Empty4 and it will work. It doesn't compile but if you use the ex4 (precompiled) it works. |

Guys just on this note, I have been using Tma bands for a while now with Bobs system and it has very effectively helped me get into the trend with Bobs system. The indicator I use is The (Tma fast line). My settings are: T/frame - 60 Tma period - 20 Price - 0 Atr Multiplier - 1.272, 1.6185 and 2 ( You load the indicator 3 times with these diff settings) Atr Period - 100 Trend Threshold - .50 Show center line - True. This is very similar to bold Traders methods and certainly has helped me get into trend and c/t trades. I am currently in aus/yen buy see attached Hope it helps. |

HI Darshanag The Tma lines remain where they are painted in real time and do not adjust themselves afterwards. I prefer to use this to look at the slope and the strength of the trend but it does help me in getting back into the trend especially with Bobs system. Correct me if I am wrong, Best to look at it and make an assessment.  |

That is one dang impressive filter. Notice I just take STO7 signals with price on the outer edges of the TMA and you have some really nice trades there. Greens are buys and whites are sells. I marked the STO7 signal with TMA band. Enter at the xxx.000 lines or xxx.050 lines. CSS reads will could give you the direction you could get the most pips. Will play with this. |

Hi Wavegarrick, Thanks for the quick reply. I observed it on M1 time period (just to see whether it repaints) and infact it does repaint. E.g. I observed the center line and its colour... and both position and the colour changed after a particular candle is closed based on subsequent price action. Maybe in higher time frames the impact is not much but I wouldn't know to comment. I have been looking for a non-repainting version of the TMA (Especially the one which have the center line in three coulors - Green-Red-White) but no luck. Do let me know if you have any info on it... Tks ! P.S. Apologies for posting something not relevant to Bob's method ! D |
