Now here is an analyst that understands China. I just about died laughing when I read this but it is so .................. China.

But a more somber mood was also evident: Meals for delegates were apparently alcohol-free and self-service, while attractive ladies serving tea were replaced by simple bottles of water.

The economy is bad when the attractive girls are being laid off.

Actually the article is very good.

Greens are buys and whites are sells. I marked the STO7 signal with TMA band. Enter at the xxx.000 lines or xxx.050 lines.

CSS reads will could give you the direction you could get the most pips. Will play with this.

Bob, that was the way I had looked at it also, just applying the channels to the Edsel system. A great combination to your excellent system.

Team, the version I posted previously does not repaint. However, I actually use both versions, one for trending and one for market range. I am not concerned with a repaint version, as I am not looking back at history for info to making the trades (at least not for use of the TMA). The TMA which re-adjusts to the market dynamics works on the current bar and that is all I am concerned with. There has been plenty of talk on the repaint versions, one of which Steve provided an excellent commentary about. So for myself and my style of trading, the TMA and the TMA-with-Distance which I posted previously works and is an excellent filter to an excellent Edsel system.

Cheers Team.

Hi Team,

I am enjoying the multiple markets retesting previous breakpoints (I call these MST's, short for Market Structure Trades). AUDUSD - moving to target, EURUSD( possibly about to break an H1 H/S line; While there is talk of EURUSD moving to the 1.40's level, there are breakpoints down lower,1.3825, 1.3785 and 1.3750 which will need to be retested. EURJPY moving... GBPJPY also moving to breakpoints, along with USDJPY (102.50, 102.00, 101.50).

These are also considered to be stop levels, which makes them very potent for liquidity and highly targeted.
Combined with Edsel system, is very powerful.

Lets see what happens..

Cheers

Hi Guys

I hope I am not infringing in a very good system that is already excellent and great. If I throw in a but of Bobs old system 10.2 in here you will see that the Fast Tma lines are a replica of 10.2 Tma slope. Just it gives me a better visual representation of price as it is. I am currently in a sell trade on Cad/yen which is c/t I agree but what gives me confidence in this trade is that the css is curving down and once again as we all know forex is a game of probabilities that is why we have stop losses, so I entered earlier but what gave me the confidence was that price bounced off the 4hr mid Tma line. I also look at Daily atr but that is something else and not part of this system. It is contrarian to the Stochs but then again I have the Daily stochs in my favor.

Please shut me up if am confusing :)

Wavegarrick,

I am looking at 2 levels for price to move to based on MM stop levels, 93.45 and 92.80. Both of these price points are expected to be hit. Thought I would share since you are trading this.

Cheers.

No dont be quiet. This is good because it reminds us that these systems are all interrelated. They are variations of the same theme but with upgrades or adjustments. The CSS is the same as the TMA with some adjustments. They should compliment each other because they are based on the same formula that has been adjusted to fit certain conditions. Putting the TMA with CSS may enhance what you are seeing better.

When I taught 10.2 we were using the CSS individually on each pair to determine strength. Now we use it to determine overall strength. I am actually working on bring back the CSS for each pair but on a slightly different format I think will be clearer than the 10.2 version. It is the Edsel version adapted to each pair much like you have now. It just takes so much screen time to make sure it is a significant of enough advantage to put it on board. I like to keep my screens neat and simple if I can so you can still see price action and read candles.

I like the neatness of this screen. I let the dummy lights provide the range or trend reads, TMA provides my highs and lows during range times. STO 7 still gives me signals and I can see the cross of the gbp/usd showing usd has gained strength over the gbp so I might not take the up trade off the bottom of the TMA. I maybe looking at a break into the DT. My screen is easy to read and see. TMA gives me several solid range trades and the 4H CSS is right there to warn me end of range trade start trend trade. So this is what I spend 3 hours working on tonight. Trying to firm up the range trade part of Edsel and the TMA would seem to work excellent for this.

Thanks Bob for your open mindedness. I am sure with all of this we can all go a long way in developing this system. :good:
