Practising level counts for XAUUSD H4 and XAGUSD H4. With hindsight it is always easier to see the levels. Compare the charts of gold and silver with USDJPY, they move in directly opposite directions. As the traders of metals know, when USD rises, the metal prices fall. Any comments welcome. |

Perhaps we should not be too hung up about the level counts. Here is a link for new comers to the thread which summarises the Naked trading http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 815#p57815 I will stop looking for trade levels and instead focus on what the trader described in his excellent summary. |

Did you enter because of the M structure? with 3 levels? or do you go down to 15mins to also take a look at the formation? |

Still haven't really gotten the grasp. I think it's part of using SL to determine my risk that's stopping me. I don't like those 120-200 pips drawdown. My E/J trade, entered with 30pips SL. More like guessing and gut feel. Using 3 pushes on 15mins and W/M formation. Any insider info would be appreciated. |

I wouldn't consider myself as an "insider" but I don't think you need to be to see that was a great entry/trade. I no longer get myself into the deep drawdown situations, and according to CJ there's no need to. Trading the edges with a 20-30 pip stop loss is the way to go in my opinion. That way if I'm wrong I move on and look for the next one without the emotions getting all out of whack. No need to stress out into a massive drawdown. I've found when you get the cycle right you'll overcome the small losses it took you to get there. Have a good week everyone! |
