GP are upping their margin requirement substantially from the 18th, and I would be unsurprised to find this happening across the board. There is no way of predicting how the markets will react to either decision. A leave decision will not necessarily cause a run on Sterling; a stay decision will not necessarily cause it to rise. The Yen rose substantially after the tsunami; explain that? It is just one example. There could be some pretty wild moves in the run-up to the referendum. Look to get your positions closed by Friday 17th and stay out the following week unless you are a seriously good and successful trader. …....
